Guest MideonMark Report post Posted July 18, 2003 I'm a Man United fan living in Ireland, so I dont exactly have access to US football(or soccer as you Americans like to call it, you crazy cats), but anyway Man United have signed Metrostars goalkeeper Tim Howard and was wondering if he is any good. Is he as good as the national team keeper Keller, I doubt it but who knows. MLS is the pro football league in the USA, but nobody outside New York area or California really cares. Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2003 I did get a chance to see Tim Howard when the U.S. National team was playing against Mexico a while back, I thought he did quite well, IMO. What is it about Americans that the one position they seem to have down properly is that of the goalkeeper? I mean, Friedel's the joint best keeper in the Premiership along with Niemi, and Keller's pretty good too.
