I am going to watch it again next week but I don't think my oppinion will change. Jin-Roh is an EXCELLENT movie and IMO its just as good, if not better than GOTF, but GOTF is good also. LONG LIVE FUCKING ANIME!

The group that is against the governments uses girls named "Red Riders" to go on Suicide missions and blow up bombs because they think that the soldiers will not kill them. One of the soldiers falls in love with a Red Riding Hood. I don't want to give away the ending but its a really excellent movie.

Guest Burning Hammer Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 Grave of the Fireflies is excellent. A must see movie for anybody. Jin Roh on the other hand is god awful terrible. Incredibly slow pacing, horrendous dialogue, and an unintersting plot really bring this movie down to unwatchable levels. I know there is a lot of love for this movie online but I really don't get it. It's just bad.

Maybe not the best anime of all time (Akira, Mononoke, Ghost In the Shell are better IMO), but pretty close. I could understand some people rejecting the movie because it's too sad. I've had Jin-Roh and the Wolf Brigade sitting on my shelf for ages. I'm gonna watch it soon. Promise.
