Guest Mr. Slim Citrus Report post Posted July 21, 2003 You would enjoy the 10-man tag team match from Michinoku Pro, which pitted Kaientai DX, (Dick Togo, TAKA Michinoku, Shoichi Funaki, MEN'S Teioh and Shiryu) against Tiger Mask IV, Gran Hamada, Gran Naniwa, Masato Yakushiji, and Super Delfin. Arguably the greatest Lucha-libre style match ever! DAMN SKIPPY I WOULD!!! Now, does anyone know where the hell I could find it?
Guest Ash Ketchum Report post Posted July 21, 2003 "You would enjoy the match between Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle at WWE Royal Rumble 2003! By showcasing their incredible amateur wrestling skills, these two put on quite an entertaining show!" No shit, Sherlock. MOTY, in my opinion.
janusd 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2003 You would enjoy Mitsuharu Misawa vs. Toshiaki Kawada in All-Japan Pro Wrestling! These two went at it tooth and nail in a grueling match up, which ended with what is most likely the most dangerous move in professional wrestling the GANSO BOMB!!!!!11 For those of you that haven't seen a Ganso Bomb, it is Basically a Powerbomb, except the opponent is dropped directly on top of his head. It is similar to what Kevin Nash accidentally did to The Giant in WCW, which led to the banning of the powerbomb there. (Y) @ head drops

But alas, I'm on Dialup, so you should probably talk to Flesher bout it. It was my first ever Puro match, and I thought it was AWESOME. Kaientai > j00! Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted July 21, 2003 "You would enjoy the Classic series of matches between Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat! Although I personally do not enjoy these matches, A lot of fellow smarks do, and therefore, I must include it on this list." Yeah, fuck this guy in the ass with Neilsen's dick. Flair vs. Steamboat beats anything else on his puny list any day.

He didn't give a date, but it's obvious he's referring to 1/24/99(the only Misawa/Kawada match where the Ganso Bomb is hit), probably one of their worst matches. If your gonna recommend Misawa/Kawada, recommend 7/95 which is basially 20 straight minutes of high spots and surreal selling. 2. 1/24/99 didn't end with the Ganso Bomb, that's a popular misconceptoin made by people who never saw the match. if I recall Misawa in all his dumbass glory actually teased a comeback after taking it, and the match eventually ended with a Brainbuster. Guest Mr. Slim Citrus Report post Posted July 21, 2003 ... But, you're not bitter or anything, right Danny?
Guest Coffin Surfer Report post Posted July 21, 2003 Oh, yeah i'm bitter. insert missing rolling eyes emoticon. You can also get the MPRO tag match from High Spots for probably 10 bucks. Back on this quiz guys stupidity, in the Kurt Angle/Beniot Royal Rumble match can anyone recall any amateur mat work in the match? I sure as hell can't. Great match, probably their best, but I don't recall any amateur wrestling in it.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted July 21, 2003 Well, they rolled around on the mat a bit and grab each other at various points. Along the way were some pins and some reversals. If it's not powerbombs and moonsaults, it's "amateur wrestling" to a lot of people, silly as they may be.

You have a good idea, you should just probably research the facts a little better and for legendary matches you should be a little more broader than just what looks like modern WWE stuff. You should include a variety of different types of legendary matches from different feds and eras.

Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted July 21, 2003 I would also add more questions. There's like what five. You know what you're going to get after like the first question and I could easily tell that you were only considering like five different styles; puro, lucha, hardcore, modern WWE and old school. And shame on you for not liking Flair vs. Steamboat. Guess who gets auto-jobbed when I'm marking their matches from now on?
Guest kelloggs Report post Posted July 21, 2003 I got Flair-Steamboat and I agree with Frost, CM. Shame on you for not liking it... if I were a marker I'd auto job you straight to hell
