Chazz 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2003 Does anybody what to speculate on what explanation will be used next week when It's revealed why Kane Isn't either fired or In Jail for Tombstoning The Company's CEO? My bet Is on Vince McMahon jumping from Smackdown! to Raw after The Vengence PPV, and refusing to fire Kane since Vince and Linda are Storyline Divorced, I think. Anybody else have any better Ideas? Austin wouldn't be able to wrestle worth shit, and who do you put over in that match? Kane as the monster, or Austin as the badass GM who will be pissed either way? I hope we get to see the RVD/Kane match at SS. With the way RVD came out intense and with agression, it promises to be a better match than I think we are all expecting. I can only assume that Linda will allow Austin to get on employees or "do what he can" with Kane next week. or They will have Linda stand her ground and have Kane go after her again, and Steve make the save. Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted July 22, 2003 If they are setting up a Austin vs Kane match we can assume that Austin must be training all this time to build up for a ring return. what it could be worth maybe a good stepping stone for Kane to Beat Austin... Austin already isn't a total wrestler because of the nagging injuries, and this has a load of opportunities for both Austin and Kane.... Austin can take a bump which plays into a injury angle..where he goes sees Angle's doctor and rehabilitiates his injuries where he makes a return. Kane gets his big Marque win again..and cements the Monster that he is... what it could lead is a Title shot for Kane.. and heres how it would go, if you want to keep Kane Heel by the time he goes World title, you'll need a face Champ...enter Goldberg So now you got Monster vs Squasher. and now that the PPV's are brand divided... they could hold off the belt match for maybe the ppv after the ppv after Summerslam. giving the Raw Brand 2 additional Months to work the storyline. Shane bumps like a Motherfucker for our pleasure. WWE needs to watch it...They JUST might turn Kane face here by accident. What I would do... Have it hyped that Kane has NOT been captured since last Monday and is on the loose (You can ignore the House Arest Bracelet) and The roster is FEARFUL of their lives... Shane is announced as the NEW CEO of WWE and VOWS that Kane will PAY for his actions on his mother but he won't do it legally because that's not the McMahon way...He wants to do it in the ring. Kane shows up on the titantron with an Kidnapped Camera Man visiting the Burned down house of his childhood and he whines about his life and VOWS destruction upon the souls of all those whom MADE FUN OF HIM... Yeah, sure, he's a monster, but until he gets another world title shot, I still frown upon why Kane is all over RAW, but yet we get stuck with Goldberg/HHH. Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted July 22, 2003 I am not the biggest fan of goofy soap opera storylines, but I really think that they are doing a solid job with Kane. They wanted to get him over as a monster heel, and they have succeeded to do so. I don't think that having him feud with the McMahons is a good idea considering something like this could turn him face very quickly. I think him and Goldberg or HHH is the only way to have payoff. RVD was booked very badly last night though as I thought he would have lost to Kane, but at least to look like he would go over. But it is the WWE afterall...... Guest papacita Report post Posted July 22, 2003 I don't think RVD came off bad at all last night considering they're trying to get Kane over as an unstopable monster. He got enough offense in and really took it to Kane for a while before he got laid out. And the no contest ending leaves room for another match (probably no holds barred or something) in the future. I thought they did a good job last night. They probably should go with RVD/Kane at SummerSlam, but the way things are going, it'll probably be Austin and Kane in some kinda "non sanctioned" match. I can see RVD getting involved in the outcome, leading to a match between those two at Unforgiven and then Kane could face Goldberg at Survivor Series for the title.
