Hard to believe a year ago he was picked against England ahead of Steve Davis of Aston Villa, now ones worth about 5 million and the other's not good enough for QPR.

No disrespect to Derby but I have to say I could never work for that club in and capacity. And I mean never. People might say I'm being rediculous but that's just the way it is. Even if I was desperate and they were the only club around, I couldn't do it. I'd rather go on the dole and take my chances.

This was great.

It'd be like Igor Stimac managing Forest.

Watch it happen.

Well the BBC reporter described Bullen forcing an 'Outrageous' save in the closing stages. Bugger. Fucking Millwall won as well, we can't have that. Still, its reassuring we pressured them after conceding, not just dying off like normal.

Our game was postponed due to a frozen pitch. I think that might be the case for our game on Tuesday as well (which is a re-arranged game, ironically).

Also, does anyone have any strikers we can borrow?

I'd send you David Graham free of charge, but Huddersfield got there first.

Disclaimer: Any goals scored or created whilst David Graham is on the field are purely coincidental.

We didn't score in seven...that was er, when David Graham was in the side. Went to the game when we finally did, beating Burnley away 2-1 on new year's eve. Then out in Manchester. Good times.

Got a 1-1, any of chance of winning dissappeared with the virus, both keepers looked awful, Wes Morgan and Liam Fontaine(who we need signed before someone pinches him) should be playing at a higher level than this.

Sturrock's line regarding Saturday is 'The performance but not the result' which from numerous reports sounds about right. Some reassurance. I reckon we could get a win over QPR...

2-1 win on Tuesday night in front of a whopping crowd of 249 at Berwick Rangers. I just about missed the first goal (I was at the other end, buying a burger from the van) and so I thought I was going to avoid seeing the only goal we'd score on the night. They equalised a minute later and I reckoned that we had chucked it but we managed a winner 7 minutes from the end to spark off bedlam scenes on the terracing in the freezing cold. A crucial victory over bitter rivals.

Well worth the 200-mile-round trip.

Hey guys, i'm officially back on the forum now, so I guess we've doubled the amount of people who will be posting in here :P

Unfortunately, since Derby are hit and miss, i've not got much to talk about.

good goal from the Man City lad last night though.

If the following 2 things happen I can see no way we don't finish top 6 next year, had the season started Christmas we'd be 2nd.

1: Keep Brooker

2: Get Fontaine at end of his loan and keep playing him at CB with Carey

No 2 might be difficult, assists from his own box aren't going to help, Fulham could extend his contract or a Championship team get him(biggest fear) hopefully he'll sign for the manager who's got him on loan 3 times.

Part of me is quite excited by the prospect of Keane, especially if, say, Brian Kidd comes along as his number 2, but part of me also thinks he could well turn out to be a disaster like Platt...

He'll go to whoever offers him the most money...

Newcastle will win. The wheels have fallen off the Chelsea bus after losing to Fulham. They're fucked now. Thank God they're signing Ballack, that Lampard's been pissing about for far too long. Bench him!

I'm curious to see what the ratings have been for the quarter-finals broadcasted on BBC One. I'm guessing they'll be hopelessly low. But if it means our boys will be fresher for the World Cup then I'm sure the "Beeb" won't mind!

Man Utd: Out of Europe before Christmas

Chelsea: Out of Europe and League Cup early

Liverpool: Out of Europe early

Arsenal: Out of FA Cup by February, both english players injured

Tottenham: Only 40 games this year

May as well left the schedule alone, no one's going to have a 70 game season.
