Obi Chris Kenobi Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 Clubs with American owners must be bricken themselves at the moment with the way the American Economy is going tits up. AIG have just been bailed out, AIG are Man U's kit sponsers and I believe the Glazers have a large amount of shares stocked up them too.
Guest Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 I'm actually quite glad. Sheikh Mohammed is going to go alone and buy us once the banks make those two fucks to sell up. If not, we are well and truly fucked.
deancoles Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 England's best manager's signed until 2013 now, it's shocking that his name's never mentioned when a premiership job is available. That new name for the Uefa cup is horrible, no fancy name changes the fact that most of the Italian and Spanish sides hate the competition and put reserves out.
Guest Posted September 27, 2008 Report Posted September 27, 2008 Good win. Torres ripped those cunts apart.
TheFranchise Posted September 27, 2008 Report Posted September 27, 2008 Yeah, good to see Torres back to his best.
Guest Posted September 27, 2008 Report Posted September 27, 2008 Needless to say, Hull just might stay up after all.
deancoles Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Always thought they had the best chance of staying up, they're using the Bolton 01-03 formula of getting experienced players(Boateng,Geovanni,Stelios) and putting hardworkers around them to make up for their lack of pace.
deancoles Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 Jamie McAllister finally got his Scotland recall after 4 years, Mcindoe and Lee Johnson(Scottish Mother) were close to getting in as well.
PLAGIARISM! Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 A shower of shite with a result at the end is better than a shower of shite without one, I suppose. The difference in quality after Beckham came on was immense. Kazakhstan should have scored more! Gerrard was a disgrace again. Never really cared about England and hasn't performed in forever, give his shirt to someone else.
TheFranchise Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 I hope Upson is dropped. A backpass to your keeper from five yards out when you've got two players on you!?
Obi Chris Kenobi Posted October 13, 2008 Report Posted October 13, 2008 Don't know about you, but I still wasn't that impressed by England's performance. Nothing happened until 75th minute when David Beckham came on, after Fabio realized that the Kazaks couldn't header the ball to save their lives.
PLAGIARISM! Posted October 19, 2008 Report Posted October 19, 2008 WINNERS Another cracking derby, glad it got shown on TV. It IS one of the biggest in the country, nevermind what league we're both in.
TheFranchise Posted October 19, 2008 Report Posted October 19, 2008 How much injury time! Also, Spurs game was even longer!
deancoles Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 We've signed Stern John on loan until January 1st, has to be the end now for Steve Brooker.
TheFranchise Posted October 25, 2008 Report Posted October 25, 2008 Senor Ramos has left Spurs. Sacked.
Kurt Angle Mark Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 Liverpool beats Chelsea 1-0 to snap Chelsea's 86 game unbeaten streak at home and take over first place.
Guest Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 Top of the table. Win at Chelsea. A 4 year undefeated streak at the Bridge is gone.
Obi Chris Kenobi Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 Harry Redknapp as Spurs Manager = WTF
TheFranchise Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 Yeah it was sorted about midnight last night, watching the whole thing unfold on SSN. And Go Liverpool.
A Happy Medium Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 Woo! Go Reds! Wasn't Harry managing Portsmouth?
Obi Chris Kenobi Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 It was announced a few hours ago that he's the new Tottenham manager. Portsmouth fans must be gutted.
TheFranchise Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 They will be when the realisation that Avram Grant is their next manager
Obi Chris Kenobi Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 I don't get why he'd leave Portsmouth, that's such an easy comfortable job for him. He's doing well, got a good team together. Tottenham is well... Tottenham. Its as cursed as Newcastle.
PLAGIARISM! Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 Shit a brick, Arsenal 4-4 Spurs! Mad game. In other news Brian Laws is probably going to Forest, meh.
Obi Chris Kenobi Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 The answer is in the question.
PLAGIARISM! Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 Bit of a flat game til the end when the work experience ref's day went utterly tits up in approximately 2 minutes.
King Cucaracha Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 Watched the Derby game on Sky and Attwell's a disgrace. You could just see how eager he was to book the one Forest player for time-wasting. Clearly a celebrity referee with an ego, it doesn't help that he's also the FA's golden child of refereeing. He can do no wrong in their eyes so he gets away with all these awful decisions.
