Anorak Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 We're down. Its going to be a double E. Midlands relegation unless we get some points soon. Not too bothered about getting knocked out of the FA Cup really, those last couple of minutes were ridiculous though.
TheFranchise Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 March 20. Derby vs Forest. That's all i have to look forward to for the rest of the season!
Mystery Eskimo Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 Thats gonna be a relegation 6 pointer
TheFranchise Posted January 16, 2004 Report Posted January 16, 2004 Jesus... looking at the standings right now... Can you imagine the crowd trouble is Forest WIN??
monkey Posted January 17, 2004 Report Posted January 17, 2004 Well Ipswich won which was a good result as the teams around us seemed to drop points. A day of some rather funny scroelines all round. How did Wolves beat Man Utd.
Murmuring Beast Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 1-0 away WIN over promotion challenging Gretna, the goal coming three minutes from the end. Great travelling support, around 100, non stop singing, etc, etc. I also heard that in another game today (East Stirling vs Elgin) a fan was ejected for throwing a cup of tea at a linesman. Ouch.
Mystery Eskimo Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 ANOTHER 1-0 defeat. What a crappy day.
TheFranchise Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Derby won a game!!!!! I missed it too!!! I spend the weekend with my girlfriend and what happens? The one game i miss, we win
TheFranchise Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 I also heard that in another game today (East Stirling vs Elgin) a fan was ejected for throwing a cup of tea at a linesman. That is taking the Tea.
Guest frowned Posted January 19, 2004 Report Posted January 19, 2004 Well Ipswich won which was a good result as the teams around us seemed to drop points. A day of some rather funny scroelines all round. How did Wolves beat Man Utd. yeah, tis hella weird - in the first division alone there were games with teams getting 6-goals, Norwich / Rotherham went 4-4, I was dead shocked when I looked at the results this morning. Tis gonna be well close at the end of the season I think.
deancoles Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 (edited) Morris is likely to make his debut against Derby next Wednesday(if he's Cup-Tied),since Junior is injured what strikers do Derby have? Edited January 21, 2004 by deancoles411
TheFranchise Posted January 21, 2004 Report Posted January 21, 2004 Manel, the Spanish lad they signed and Morris are the usual forwards. So it's looking like 4-5-1 or 4-4-2 with Taylor as a makeshift striker.
deancoles Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 Chelsea were lucky today,City are drawing way at hartlepool which is good beacuase hartlepool are excellent at home.
TheFranchise Posted January 25, 2004 Report Posted January 25, 2004 For anyone who doesn't know, Chelsea scraped it 1-0.
deancoles Posted January 25, 2004 Report Posted January 25, 2004 I loved how the BBC was hyping the Man City/Tottneham game while there were thousands of empty seats in full view.
TheFranchise Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 ^^ Derby can get out of the relegation zone by beating Sheffield United on Wednesday!
deancoles Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 ^^ Derby can get out of the relegation zone by beating Sheffield United on Wednesday! I heard you have former rangers striker Marco Negri on trial,he was brilliant for Rangers and if fit he could help you guys stay up.I remember him scoring 5 goals in a game on sky and then he got injured.
Guest frowned Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 ^^ Derby can get out of the relegation zone by beating Sheffield United on Wednesday! Please kick their arses... Norwich could do with the breathing space, the way they've been playing recently. I can't help but see the scenario whereby we get knocked out of the play-offs once again.
Mystery Eskimo Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 Feck, we have Cardiff away next. If Derby beat Sheff U we'll go into the bottom 3!
TheFranchise Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 FOREST SCUM!!!!! YOU'RE GOING DOWN WITH THE...derby.
deancoles Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 Negri is at Derby??? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...nty/3430959.stm
