German Poll

They're Germans.  They likely believe that the Jews were responsible for it.

As possibly the only German user on this board I'll give you a heartfelt 'FUCK YOU!' for this idiotic outburst.

Vyce is correct; they do - although the Arabs (of course) were the first to disseminate this ridiculous conspiracy theory. What is wrong with Germany?

I don't think that you will find a more peace-loving country in Europe BECAUSE of our history. I hope you're 12 years old and will still learn a thing or two about our world in school, but I know better. That's so sad.

What's sad is that Jewish schools in your country still need armed guards to protect them from your peace-loving citizens, and that graffiti proclaiming "SIX MILLION JEWS WEREN'T ENOUGH" is a fairly unremarkable sight in Berlin.

If you'd learned anything from your history, I could wish you'd show it once in a while. But you can't. Because you haven't.

First of all, the thirty percent only said that there is a POSSIBILITY, they didn't say that there was.

Oh, that makes it so much better.

Anyone who think that the U.S. Govt. could possibly be behind or related to 9/11 is plain foolish.

Causing thousands of American deaths doesn't lead one to victory come election time, and the info WOULD come out.

9/11 and it's aftermath has greatly improved Bush's hopes of re-election, no? I don't agree with the conspiracists, but saying that they are just plain foolish for considering it possible is naive...

How'd that whole trying to block the liberation of Iraq thing go for you?  Try again, we really don't care that much about what you have to say, unless you agre with us then you can ride in the back seat behind the Brits.

...wow, this board is really filled with stupid assholes. We didn't try to block any kind of liberation, we were trying to prevent a crime against international law. I didn't work out, we have to live with that. But that doesn't change the fact that we and our European partners are an important part of international politics. It makes me sick how some of you just ignore the fact that OUR soldiers are protecting Afghanistan right now. And how come that the American economy is so dependent on European market if we all don't matter? And why is it that Bush would love to see us help out in Irak because the whole thing is burning a hole in his pocket?

Kindly define "international law."

Well, someones tarring everyone with the same brush. There is a load of rascist graffiti in the US. Does that make your country rascist? People on this board are saying that Germans hate Jews. Does that make everyone here rascist? No. The minorities are not representative of the majority.

Yes, there are some in Germany who resent the Jewish. But there are biggots and nationallists in all countries. I spent a couple of weeks travelling through Germany this year and last, and got no resentment for being British.

Damn, these types of posts are the reason why so many Europeans dislike the Americans.

How about colonising Kenya? Or German East Africa? Or Algeria?

Even more pertinently, how about giving Czechoslovakia to Hitler in 1938?

Wow, there are some idiots running around who spray propaganda against walls. There are also still more than enough idiotic Americans running around who think that 'niggers' should be the slaves of the white man. Who gives a shit? The vast majority of Germans have learned from history, that's a fact.

But I don't expect you to believe that. I have read posts by you in the past and I know that I disagree with everything you say in this folder. Let's just leave it at that.

Jesus, I've had enough of this "with us or without us" mentality that engulfs this board.

I second that.

In light of this post, it's quite amusing that you have the cheek to call others "ignorant." More than enough for what?

I thought we were talking about the current situation here.

Law is based on principle or precedent. Define your terms.

What the fuck? More than enough, it's an expression. Look it up.

I love the way you're trying to make everybody else look like an idiot instead of giving viable arguments. See also the post above this one.

Also, Cancer Marney, you were aware that the piece you linked to was written by the German Shaddow Defence Minister, the man who gets payed to oppose the German governments decisions, weren't you? A tad biased maybe?

The expression assumes an implicit causal condition to justify its use. Look it up yourself.

The anti-black community in America is most definately comperable to the anti-semetic community in Germany.

Ad hominem. Address his arguments.

why don't you give some arguments yourself instead of linking to someone else's opinion. Or would that be too much work?

Really? The Ku Klux Klan has a difficult time procuring more than 150-200 people for its rallies. I know the figures because I've field-managed security for counter-demonstrators. 12-17% of Germans polled in April 2003 believe that Israel was behind 9/11. That's out of 83,251,851 people. Comparable? Don't make me laugh.

The history of the American people, while not as tarnished as that of the German people, is still not clean.

Your point being? I'm still waiting for a definition of "international law."

What arguements? It's a piece pandering to anti-German feeling in the USA, saying that the German government should have gone along with the US in order to maintain international relations.

America is always looking out for one country: America. That's the bottom line.

Explain how we were "looking out for [ourselves]" when we went into Somalia and Bosnia.
