Even if the slip gets edited out of the Bad Blood VHS / DVDs, the clip will always be around to haunt Scott forever. In Steiner's defense though, at least he doesn't act like a total jackass in front of people when he fucks up. Goldberg takes it out on the nearest person. It's like Kane's current character, only real.
