Simple Foods you get at resteraunts

I am talking about food that is easy/practical to make or prepare at home, yet you seem to only eat at resteraunts. For example, when eating out for breakfast, I almost ALWAYS put jam on my english muffin, yet for some reason at home, with a full bottle of jam waiting, I NEVER DO IT. I dunno why, maybe it is the neat little jam packets........

Butter on bread. I never butter my bread at home, but I do when I'm out.

That's because the restaurant butter is free.

I never make pancakes at home but they're what I almost always get at restaurants for breakfast. I also never make cheeseburgers at home even though I often make hamburgers and I always want cheese at restaurants.

For some reason, I always get my eggs over-medium with toast at resturants.

Real, top flight grits are not that easy to make.

I'd have to go with the tuna melt, or big a honking sub. Even if I have the fixings for a huge sandwich, I just throw a piece of meat on some bread with mayo and go.

Chicken wings...

Ditto for me. I eat 'em all the time at resteraunts, bars and parties but I've only had them once or twice at home.

Outside of the cheese fries, I eat all of the foods listed in this thread at home.

Yes, grits. They're very underrated. Put a little butter in there, and they're fantastic.

Chips and Salsa. But then, I spend a lot of time at airports - YOU try and find something cheaper that doesn't come in a bag...
