Guest NoCalMike Posted July 24, 2003 Report Posted July 24, 2003 I am talking about food that is easy/practical to make or prepare at home, yet you seem to only eat at resteraunts. For example, when eating out for breakfast, I almost ALWAYS put jam on my english muffin, yet for some reason at home, with a full bottle of jam waiting, I NEVER DO IT. I dunno why, maybe it is the neat little jam packets........
Guest Choken One Posted July 24, 2003 Report Posted July 24, 2003 Waffles. Something tells me this will be Breakfast heavy list.
Guest Retro Rob Posted July 24, 2003 Report Posted July 24, 2003 Butter on bread. I never butter my bread at home, but I do when I'm out.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted July 24, 2003 Report Posted July 24, 2003 I ALWAYS butter my biscuits/rolls at a restaraunt, but at home, I just eat them straight, no additives.
Guest jimmy no nose Posted July 24, 2003 Report Posted July 24, 2003 That's because the restaurant butter is free. I never make pancakes at home but they're what I almost always get at restaurants for breakfast. I also never make cheeseburgers at home even though I often make hamburgers and I always want cheese at restaurants.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted July 25, 2003 Report Posted July 25, 2003 For some reason, I always get my eggs over-medium with toast at resturants.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted July 26, 2003 Report Posted July 26, 2003 Real, top flight grits are not that easy to make. I'd have to go with the tuna melt, or big a honking sub. Even if I have the fixings for a huge sandwich, I just throw a piece of meat on some bread with mayo and go.
Guest kingkamala Posted July 26, 2003 Report Posted July 26, 2003 Chicken wings... Ditto for me. I eat 'em all the time at resteraunts, bars and parties but I've only had them once or twice at home.
Guest Vyce Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Outside of the cheese fries, I eat all of the foods listed in this thread at home. Yes, grits. They're very underrated. Put a little butter in there, and they're fantastic.
Guest starvenger Posted July 28, 2003 Report Posted July 28, 2003 Chips and Salsa. But then, I spend a lot of time at airports - YOU try and find something cheaper that doesn't come in a bag...
