I mean that they have this game, they hype it like the second coming of <insert spiritual figure of your choice>, then have it be the EXACT same game as the previous one, give or take a few minor tweaks & additions. In other words, i'm not spending $50 on the exact same game i already have, just with 12 or so new characters.
Rendclaw Posted August 2, 2003 Report Posted August 2, 2003 Ahh, I understand... well, they've improved the gameplay and graphics, plus some of the esoteric things in the game as well.... I honestly don;t think that HTCP is going to be "Smackdown 4.5". I still am amazed at the difference of SYM from JBI, and now the pics from HTCP have me all but salivating now... Yes, I *love* my wrestling games. But ever since Tag Team Wrestling back in the early 80s, I always have.

Now that I think about it, the only wrestling game on the PS1 I ever played was the import copy of NJPW 2, which youke's did and you can see the influence on the next generation of games, such as JBI and SYM.

It's been a pain in the ass having a maskless Vader job to Brock. Yeah, Rendclaw, i've heard stuff like that. I wish i had talent. But the fact you can't have the damn Vader mask pisses me off. Why have the tights & moveset & NO MASK? Next to creating the perfect pre-'97 Sting (harder than i thought), it's one of my sad little goals. I saw a pretty decent Vader at this sight http://www.cheatsforplaystation2.com/wwe/index.html Here's a pic As for Smackdown 5, As long as they improve the submissions system and have more and better group entrances, I think I'll enjoy it.
