Guest Dace59 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 This is to save messing up NLB's thread anymore.. any move stuff can go in here. Questions, ideas or "created" moves for you all Nova wannabes ( LMAO! )
Guest Northern Lights Brainbuster Report post Posted March 31, 2002 My favourite sorts of moves are the ones that are 2 or more moves put together. The Delphin Special (German Suplex followed by a Tiger Suplex) or the Simon Series (2 Snap Suplexes and a Sitout Gourd Buster) are good examples. I always imagined someone doing a Snap Suplex, holding on, doing a Vertical Suplex, holding on, and finishing with a brainbuster. Countering a Superbomb with a Super Samurai Driver would be swank too.
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 The Delphin Special is so much better then Benoit's Rolling German's. It's a sit out reverse suplex, not a gord buster to be technical. Nice suplex combo idea. SuperBomb with Super Samurai Driver is asking for it... I love it http://geocities.com/ultimomeiwaku/moves.html Lovely list of great inovated moves buy just one guy. Guest Northern Lights Brainbuster Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Im gonna be more technical just to piss Dace off (lol) and say its a Sit-out front suplex, but wth we all get the idea, right? And if they do use the Samurai Driver off the top thing, i hope its RVD who takes it. Ive never seen someone sell any type of DDT like he can. The man bounces off the mat. The best one was vs Lynn at Living Dangerously 1999.
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Nope, that's wrong. No such thing as a front suplex, it's a reverse suplex. Don't ever try to say other wise on that one. It'd have to be RVD taking it, no one else would. Yer, he take wicked DDT's and piledrivers. Dreamer nearlly lost his head when RVD bounced back up from being piledriven by him once. Guest Anglesault Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Invented Move: Standing Rydian Bomb: Like a Ski-High, but you don't sit down with them, you stay standing. You'll se me call it the Sodium Driver on the board.
Guest Northern Lights Brainbuster Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Do you remember what Mikey Whipwreck did to Guido Maritato at Hardcore Heaven 2000? He put him in pedigree position, hoisted him onto his shoulder with the arms still hooked, span around 360 degrees for effect and landed with a killer face first sitdown powerbomb. Guest muzanisa Report post Posted March 31, 2002 I'd like to see a sequence of moves in the turnbuckle. Maybe a moonsault kick, land, lariat, back off, elbow, foot choke, elbow, opponent drops, kick to the head, back off and running knee strike. Someone had a sequence like this irish whip in the turnbuckles could get a nice pop.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted March 31, 2002 That's stupid. :: Sodium Drivers muzanisa, climbs to the top and hits the SaltSault. Stands victorious.::
Guest muzanisa Report post Posted March 31, 2002 You don't like striking moves. I do. Isn't this calling moves on each other in other peoples thread a bit like trolling. Plus you don't want to work a program with me you're on the big shows and I'm on Metal
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted March 31, 2002 You're actually on Heat. And I'm just beating up a jobber. ::Hits the Salt Shaker (Fisherman's buster) on muzanisa.::
Guest muzanisa Report post Posted March 31, 2002 I'm on Heat, looks like you gave me the rub. Cuts a promo on JR and Stephanie:: Works the next WWA PPV.

Guest Dace59 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Do you remember what Mikey Whipwreck did to Guido Maritato at Hardcore Heaven 2000? He put him in pedigree position, hoisted him onto his shoulder with the arms still hooked, span around 360 degrees for effect and landed with a killer face first sitdown powerbomb. That move was the Devil Bomb, a double underhook lift to spining Canadian Backbreaker to sit double underhook fasebuste. (It's the wrong wat round for a sitout inverted powerbomb)
Guest Northern Lights Brainbuster Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Ill be honest, i dont give seven shits about precise terminology, as long as the other guys know where im coming from, im happy, and its obvious you understood what i meant. Anyway, didnt that move kick ass?
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 I do, but that's me. As long as the point gets across, you're right, it don't matter. I loved that move.. it rules. Better than the Angle Wings (Spinng sit out double underhook facebuster [sitout Pedigree/Double underhook X-factor] but you don't lift the opp. onto you shoulder), Devil Bomb has more impact. Guest Northern Lights Brainbuster Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Yeah i know all about Chris Daniel's Angel Wings, he was and is on a lot of British Wrestling. In fact i stole his Last Rites finisher as my own "Originator", because he does it better than Reno and Flash Barker ever could.
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Last Ritise is cool, one of the few good Ace Crusher's that Ace didn't come upwith himself.. Heh, everyone rips it off since Nova did. At least Nova made it a different move (spins over the other way)
Guest Northern Lights Brainbuster Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Speaking of Nova, he is a sheer God for inventing the Third Degree, Sledge O Matic and Diamond Cutter from Tree of Woe position.
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 LOL He didn't invent any of those. As you know, don't make other people think he did, if they don't know. The only move he invented was the High Socity (Buff Block Buster)
Guest Northern Lights Brainbuster Report post Posted March 31, 2002 OK, maybe implimenting them on TV is a better term. But if he didnt do *that*, who did innovate those 3 moves?
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 All by indy dudes.. I did have a list once, not anymore. I'll ask on another board, someone I know has a list. Yer, at least he gets them on tv.
Guest Northern Lights Brainbuster Report post Posted March 31, 2002 A Northern Lights Hammerlock Suplex is another good one. Fishermans Superplex is like a mild FISHAMANBUSTA, but it has more chance of seeing the light of day on WWF TV. And Avalanche Brainbuster is SICK SICK SICK!
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Fishermans Superplex is like a mild FISHAMANBUSTA, but it has more chance of seeing the light of day on WWF TV. Jazz did a Fisherman's superplex at WM. I've seen a lot of Fishermanbustas and superfishermansbustas cuz I've seen a Lyger comp tape. Very nice moves. Avalanche Brainbusters are cool.. very cool.
Guest Northern Lights Brainbuster Report post Posted March 31, 2002 1) I think that was a f'd up version of her finisher, the Fishermans Buster, off the turnbuckles. 2) It was off the second rope so it aint good enuff. 3) Did she even hold on with the Fisherman's Bridge? its nothing more than a fancy Superplex unless she held on. I think she just rolled into a regular cover.
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 She dose a poor fisherman's buster anyway. It was second rope, her on the second, Lita on top, like Lyger. (could be wrong about how Jazz did it) No, she didn't bridge it, she did a float over. I've never seen anyone do any bridge of a superplex move, it's not safe enough.
Guest Northern Lights Brainbuster Report post Posted March 31, 2002 I disagree. I think that the bridge could be held, and just to make it safe, the bridge could be done AFTER impact. If Jazz had hit the move as she did, and then bridged up and held Litas leg after the move was safely executed, it would have looked much better. And she probably wont do the move right as long as shes in the "no head bumps, unless your one of our pet projects" WWF. Anyway, have you seen UK wrestler Jodie Fliesch's Pheonix DDT? Or maybe some indy guy who did a running Awesome Bomb, only with a sitout. Plus, id love to see someone do a frog splash, Guererro style or D'Lo style, only facing out of the ring. It'd be like a Celestial Splash combined with a Frog Splash.
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Mmm.. nice idea with the bridge, you're probably right. Yep, I've seen teh Pheonix DDT, damn cool move. (Is British) Didn't he do it off a ladder through a table once? I've see release running Awesome bombs too (Mike did it through a talbe a lot). D'lo does Barr's Original Frog Slapsh, Eddie's is his tribute one (couldn't do Barr's). Backwards or reverse splash.. cool.. Awesome did a backwards Super Awesome bomb once, it was cool. Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted March 31, 2002 I've always been surprised that no-one's popularised the sit-out chokeslam. Seems like a no-brainer if people are innovating moves all the time. Just drop down into a sitdown spinebuster. There's a half-decent version in smackdown3 that test :0 did once, but that's all i've seen. I suppose it's a 'giant' move primarily.
Guest Ignatz Belzner Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Three words: helicopter frog splash. To describe it's impact, another three words: death from above. Hey, I'd mark like a schoolgirl for it
