Guest Dace59 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Someone has. Mens Tehio(sp?) (AKA Terry Boy)does it. Calls it the The Miricle Ectasy Bomb. Called a Chokeslam powerbomb. It can also be called a sitout Chokeslam. Albert's Balbo Bomb is a sitout dobule arm chokeslam. And, yes, everyone has thought of the powerbomb to chokeslam before you ask. Guest Northern Lights Brainbuster Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Its Teioh*, and thanks for clearing up Miracle Ecstasy for me. All the Smarks harp on about it, especially in the Puro section, but ive never been able to track down its true identity... until now. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! Anyway I always liked the idea of a chokeslam into a backbreaker. Benoit did a similar move in WCW, but it was a Uranage not a Chokeslam. and why the fuck does Scott Hudson call every Chokeslam variation a "No Dollar Chokeslam?" That dumb bastard. Guest Dace59 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 No prob about the MEB. Nick Gate in CZW does a chokeslam backbreaker, sick move! Hudson calls it a Nodowa (thing that's right) Chokeslam, becuase the Japanese name for a chokeslam is Nodowa Osinta (sp?) (Osinta means strike or slam) He probably heard it someone, but got his info messed up.
Guest Northern Lights Brainbuster Report post Posted March 31, 2002 OK, well i still think hes a See You Next Tuesday, if you get my drift. Anyway dude vote in my Intercontinental Champion tournament, its got a better method than the others did (at least i think it does). And Nova's nearest rival on the move invention front, at least from what ive seen, is Mike Quackenbush. That dude uses a different moveset every match! Guest Dace59 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Ok.. I've voted in your tourny. Helms and Kayone have good move lists too. I think.
Guest Northern Lights Brainbuster Report post Posted March 31, 2002 I liked what Kanyon did at Invasion. He hit rolling Russian Legsweeps and finished with a Stroke. And you know your shit when it comes to wrestling, but it aint your day for spelling is it? lol
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 I could never spell, to many books too young. Yer, I do know some of my wrestling stuff.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted March 31, 2002 would somebody explain the highspots that Hayabusa does? Pheonix Firebird Splashes? I notice that Jeff Hardy tried to do the spinning moonsault but he finishes the move with a senton.
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Firebird Splash = 450 Pheonix Splashes = Moonsault twisted into 450 Jeff does a twisting corkscrew senton.
Guest Northern Lights Brainbuster Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Blitzkreig did a Pheonix Splash as his finisher in WCW in 1999, although Mike Tenay called it as the "Sky Twister Press". I thought the STP was a moonsault into a twisting crossbody? Anyway on the subject of Blitzkreig, he also did a move where he put his opponent on the top, climbed up with them, spun right around them and flipped them off with a headscissor move. Ill be damned if i know what that was. Plus, a top rope snapmare into a sitdown strikes me as a cool move.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Thank you for the info now what about Dragon Kid from Touryomon what are his finishers? besides the Dragon Rana?
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Can't remember what a STP is for the life of me right now. I think you're right on what it is. Moonsault to twisting crossbody or splash. Wouldn't that move just be a super rana? Or a swinging super rana if he starts off behind them and swings round.
Guest Northern Lights Brainbuster Report post Posted March 31, 2002 The Dragonrana is a full-mid-air flip into a huricanrana. Think of a Molly go Round into the rana. Its been spoken of in Power Slam Magazine, and also is on all three SmackDown! games.
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Dunno of any of Dragon Kid's finishers, part from the dragon
Guest Northern Lights Brainbuster Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Heres something we havent touched upon: Mocking Moves. Jericho's Arrogant Pin, Kai en Tai's 3-man pose on top of their opponent, Hogan's FINGER PUSH OF DOOM! (ok that wasnt a mocking move, but it was hella funny) Any other ones u guys can think of?
Guest razazteca Report post Posted March 31, 2002 the mocking pose is a common thing in CMLL, Tazan Boy & Ultimo Guerrero & Rey Buccanero do it on almost every pin. Yeah Baby!!!!!!!!! Jericho's one foot pin Standing double leg pin by El Texano
Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted March 31, 2002 ah yes, miracle ecstasy. I thought he just fell forward. still a cool move. Also, can someone please explain the Visual Driver and Viagra driver? i keep hearing them mentioned but haven't (to my knowledge) seen them.
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted March 31, 2002 Visual Driver: No idea. Viagra driver: Pumphandle lift (The ones Test does for his Pumphandle powerslam) to MD 2 (Sitout Scoop Slam, TAKA's WWF finisher)
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted April 1, 2002 Bump! Plus, anyone know who useds a Tequila Sunrise suplex (Half nelson chicken wing suplex)? Only time I've ever seen it was when the Briscoes used it in their match aganist each other at CZW Best of the Best.
Guest Northern Lights Brainbuster Report post Posted April 1, 2002 What DIDNT the Briscoes use on each other in that match?
Guest MaskedDanger Report post Posted April 1, 2002 Plus, anyone know who useds a Tequila Sunrise suplex (Half nelson chicken wing suplex)? Only time I've ever seen it was when the Briscoes used it in their match aganist each other at CZW Best of the Best. I'm probably WAY wrong about this, but if it's the move I'm thinking of, it's also called the Millenium Suplex. Anyway, the latest Tiger Mask uses that, if that's even the move you're talking about. Anyway, one of Dragon Kid's non-Dragonrana finishers is an off the ropes (recipient sitting on ropes, performer on the mat) Diamond Cutter. It's in most wrestling games (except the SD series, the bastards) and when done correctly looks awesome. DDP did it occasionally in WCW, when he was playing around with Ace Crusher variations, and his looked pretty good, especially on smaller guys. I remember seeing him land a SICK looking one on Psychosis in one of their matches.

Guest Northern Lights Brainbuster Report post Posted April 1, 2002 I also heard that the "Dragon Attack" corkscrew moonsault that is on the SmackDown Series is used by Dragon Kid, which probably explains the name of the move. Dunno if thats exactly what Kid called it though. Plus, it's "COME ON BABY!!" that Jericho yells when doing the Arrogant Pin. He aint Austin Powers, y'know.
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted April 1, 2002 "Dragon Attack" corkscrew moonsault I think it's a Corkscrew Moonsault Senton. I like the name Cocky Pin from the games better.
Guest big Dante Cruz Report post Posted April 1, 2002 I was wondering. There is such a thing in the world as an inverted brainbuster (hook the guy in an inverted DDT position, lift like a reverse suplex, then brainbust him) so why not mix an inverted DDT and a fisherman's buster? I thought up that move a while back and put it in as the finish for my efed character. But, know those crazy Japanese guys (sarcasm, not a slam) they probably already have it. Guest Midnight Express83 Report post Posted April 1, 2002 list of moves I always hear but don't know what they look like: Tiger 91 Fire Thunder driver Orange Crush suplex Exploder Suplex teardrop suplex Third degree Avalanche Brainbuster Sledge O Matic
Guest Ignatz Belzner Report post Posted April 1, 2002 Well, I only know two of 'em: The TD '91 is the move in NLB's avatar spot, and the Exploder is (I think) a head and arms tazzplex. At least, that's what Scott Keith describes the Exploider suplex as. What confuses me is: the head and arms tazzplex...is that the tazzmissionplex?
Guest Report post Posted April 1, 2002 sorry about just butting in here but: Fire Thunder is (basically) the rikishi driver (duce will correct me for clarity) Avalanche is Japanese for "off the top turnbuckle" Sledge-o-matic is a Nova move where he pulls the guy up for a powerbomb, sticks his elbow in the guy's crotch, and then brings him down, major rack action. Orange crush is similar to the Steinerdriver, but not exactly the same and just to add, best move i've seen was Modest with a headscissors into a cradle, sounds simple, but it was beautiful, man. Inverted Brainbuster has been done by El Samurai Some indy worker I know has doen an inverted Fisherman's Buster. the head and arms tazzplex...is that the tazzmissionplex Tazzmissionplex: Put opp. in Tazmission and suplex then over from there. Head and arms tazzplex: The Belly to Belly move Tazz has in SD!3. From standing facing opp, hook once arm round their head. Other arm under their armpit and round their head to link with your other Arm. Suplex them other like Belly to Belly. Tiger 91 : Dangerous Driver (SD!3) Tiger Driver Special (No Mercry) Double underhook opp, lift them up and drive them ontot heir neck as you drop yo your knees. Fire Thunder driver: Cradle Inverted Piledriver (Fire Thunder Driver in No Mercy) Pick opp lick a tombstone, but then cralde their leg like a cradle piledrive, sitdown. Orange Crush (No Mercy) Suplex. It's Bomb, it's a suplex released into a Sitout Powerbomb (you jsut let them drop and land between your legs) Exploder Suplex: T Bone teardrop suplex: :Leg Grab Back Drop. Pick up like a belly to back suplex, place them out yout shoulder, fall back. Third degree: Twisting piledriver, hold on, do another twisting piledriver (but twist the other way) hold on, then do a spinning sit out powerbomb Avalanche Brainbuster (Super Brainbuster in No Mercy): Super Brainbuster (Avalanche means off the top rope for gappling moves) Sledge O Matic: Powerbomb, turn and eblow drop opp. in grion as they fall. Guest razazteca Report post Posted April 1, 2002 Suger Hold? what is the name for this move: Abdomile Stretch into a pin 2) Camel Crutch into a pin - while in the Camel Crutch, push the guy forward, where he is on his shoulders.
