Guest Choken One Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 200? Surely Rock had more Pop Impact then fucking SPOCK! Oprah? 1? BULLFUCKING SHIT.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Why is JFK Jr ahead of JFK? Like usual VH1, they give Madonna a verbral BJ any chace they get. And Oprah as #1 is a friggin joke. I could spend all night bitching about why's this dick here and that douce there. But I don't have the time.
Guest Choken One Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Because JFK jr was better looking and ran a magazine?
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Because JFK jr was better looking and ran a magazine? ehhh...I'm not buying it
Guest Choken One Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 I don't either...that's VH1's excuse.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 How Jennifer Lopez and The Osbournes ranked above John Wayne...I'll never know.
Guest Choken One Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 God Damn It. tom cruise? #5? Has he EVER done anything besides be 2 feet shorter then his wife? Eminem actually should be higher...and so should SO many people... When your list starts with a wrestler...things aren't right...How come HOGAN didn't make the list? when he is still the clear most Pop Iconish wrestler...
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Damn skippy. Hogan should be hundreds of places higher then the Rock. And how did Sarah Jessica Parker and Reese Witherspoon make a top 200 like this?
Guest HartFan86 Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Why is Rock on the list, but Hogan & Austin aren't? Right. Whole list is gay.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Nuts to this...I'm not spending any more time on this now...I'll check back later.
Guest The Amazing Rando Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 because the Rock was in Good big budget movies.......... and i'm shocked that Superman got TWO...and Spiderman, Batman, and any other superhero on the list was down in the low 100s...
Guest Karnage Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 I hate all these lists. Remember TV Guide's cartoon list?
Guest bob_barron Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Damn skippy. Hogan should be hundreds of places higher then the Rock. And how did Sarah Jessica Parker and Reese Witherspoon make a top 200 like this? Why is Sarah Jessica Parker on the list? Because her Carrie Bradshaw character is an icon and an inspiration to single woman worldwide. I think that counts. This special has been so addictive and despite the list being mostly bullshit- I've been loving the episodes. Everything about them is unintentionally hilarious. Oh and Kristin Davis hosting was the best decision ever
Guest IDrinkRatsMilk Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Because her Carrie Bradshaw character is an icon and an inspiration to single woman worldwide. That character spreads lies. If we're honoring liars, then who else should top the list than the Father of Lies, Satan.
Guest bob_barron Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 I hate Carrie Bradshaw with a passion but she is a role model to millions of single women.
Guest the pinjockey Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 When I saw the Simpsons were below Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears I decided to ignore it completely. When they have been around 15 years let me know. Besides the fact I tried watching the show and it wasn't entertaining in the least. The people they interviewed weren't funny or entertaining and did nothing more than "Oh, he was great", "Oh, she was a great singer", and "I loved that show."
Guest bob_barron Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 That's pretty much every VH1 special in a nutshell. The list was pretty fucked I'll admit but come on- The special is just so addictive. Today 101 Most Shocking Moments and 200 Icons were on at the same time- It was torture
Guest the pinjockey Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 I Love the 80s ruined their lists though, because now I expect the people they talk to to provide entertainment. Plus the one like Shocking Moments and TV moments at least show the moments and discuss them in further detail. This was just 200 blow jobs. "The Rock took the wrestling world by storm and won titles. He is a great entertainer. Now number 199."
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 I hate Carrie Bradshaw with a passion but she is a role model to millions of single women. She's by far the least entertaining on the show
Guest bob_barron Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 I never saw that special. 200 Icons was just too rushed- They shouldn't have tried to cram 20 in an hour- just 10. Also- some of the celebrities speaking were just random. Warren Moon, Boomer Esiason and Ziggy Marley seemed to be there just for comic relief. Kelly Osbourne has a very annoying voice. And Sharon Osbourne seems to love everyone. I thought they should've devoted more to the top 10. Oprah got the same time as Dick Van Dyke. Maybe they should've crammed 200-20 or 10 and then do a whole other special on the top 20 or 10. Just my two cents
Guest bob_barron Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 I hate Carrie Bradshaw with a passion but she is a role model to millions of single women. She's by far the least entertaining on the show No- that title currently belongs to Jack Berger. Even though I hate her character- at least Carrie actually gets fairly engrossing storylines. Of course this current storyline makes her look like a fucking moron. She's more entertaining then say Samantha whose character seems to only exist as filler and to show boobs. I can understand guys not liking Carrie but SJP made the list due to her iconic status among single women.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Ah-nuld should be in the top 10, probably top 5. He's one of the most recognizable people in the world, and practically defines a huge genre of movies.

Samantha at least has some good one-liners...even though they're a little too set up
Guest the pinjockey Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 I think 200 was just too many period. I think they should have just done segments on the top 100, if you want 200 just do a quick rundown of the 101-200.

Although if they continue Carrie-Berger and Carrie's descent into huge idiot- She may take the cake
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 SJP's just never did anything for me.
Guest Smark-Raving Mad Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Ah-nuld should be in the top 10, probably top 5. He's one of the most recognizable people in the world, and practically defines a huge genre of movies. Absolutely. Who doesn't know who Arnold is? And where the hell's Christopher Walken? If he's not a pop culture icon, I don't know who is.
Guest Mattdotcom Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Ohhh, I was beat to the punch. I've been bitching about this in my home or place of business all week.
Guest Eagan469 Posted July 27, 2003 Report Posted July 27, 2003 Oprah actually had a page in my history textbook devoted to her. I shit you not.
