If that movie would've been made over 10 years ago, at the height of the Freddy and Jason, THEN it might've been special. But both the characters have had weakened movies since...they went from slash/gore fame, to stupid effects-ladened "suspense" bad guys.

Agreed. Im still gonna give the movie a shot though. I only wish it lives up to its potential.

Now, you KNOW that won't happen. We won't get the Freddy Krueger from the first 3 Nightmare movies, nor will we get Jason from the first 4 Friday movies. Instead, We'll get Dream-Warrior Freddy vs Jason X...
