Guest mach7 Report post Posted July 28, 2003 What is the purpose of buying these? To parade around the house with naked "Look Honey...I'm the World CHAMPION! WHOO!" No, it's to put them on display and to have all of your non-wrestling fan friends make fun of you when they come over. ;p
The Dames 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2003 I have my US Title....sitting on top of my printer. Before that, it was used as a prop for a video game fed I was in. I want the Winged Eagle belt, so I can encase it and hang it up. It's just gorgeous and reminds me of my favorite era of pro wrestling. Dames
Guest Choken One Report post Posted July 28, 2003 Well...Dames instead of buying the expensive replica... Just break into Bret's House and steal his... Oh and dames...Send your U.S title replica to vince since Edge lost the real United States Title at the Waffle House in Little Rock.
Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted July 28, 2003 Just to clear this up for everyone... I work for Figures Inc./Wrestling Superstore. Zach Gowan does not. Thank you.
The Dames 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2003 Well, normally, I don't call it the Winged Eagle belt. I call it "Bret's Belt". He can keep his... I'm keeping my U.S. Title. It's much better looking than the piece of crap they're using now. Dames
The Dames 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2003 Just to clear this up for everyone... I have two legs. Zach Gowan does not. Thank you. Oh, that was just in bad taste there, Zack. Dames
Guest Showstoppa Icon Report post Posted July 28, 2003 For the record, a friend of mine bought ALL of the WCW Replica titles with the cheap strap. It was the only one available anyway. They cracked easily. Dames True, but the "ads" now say "improved" simulated leather. So hopefully these don't fall victim to the same shit. Theyre actually a major improvement

The original was left behind in England during the March 2000 tour. WCW called us before a Nitro in Providence and needed us to bring a replica to use on TV that night, since the champion (Jarrett) forgot the title overseas, apparently. ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2003 I posted a topic a while back about this, but good to see interest is still high in them. Yeah...thing is, I don't know WHY they ever decided to stop using the classic, winged eagle belt. Maybe make it a bit larger, but that's the only change I see should have been made. ...well, until the whole lawsuit thing...then the WWE logo would have had to have been put on it. ANYWAY...now all we need is the previous 3 styles of the WWWF/WWF/WWE Title and it'll be complete (the Sammartino Era one...the Morales/Stasiak/Sammartino 2/Graham/Early Backlund one, and the Backlund/Iron Sheik/Early Hogan one). OK...I guess that explains that one. Though, I still find it funny how little the belt that he got the night after WrestleMania was used. Just for a couple of months, then Austin brought in the Smoking Skull belt, right?

Here's a challenge for a belt to make replicas of...the WWF Women's Title from Late 1993 (I think) to 1995 or 6... You know which one I'm talking about. And I think the division's one solid person (until her third reign, anyway) was Alundra. Nakano was short term, Faye was short term...and Aja Kong probably was gonna be as well the way things were going.

I'm surprised Russo didn't make Janitor Duggan find the WWF Women's belt in the trash like he did the WCW TV belt, lol. And people loved the hardcore title for it's unique look, and Foley. RVD's reign helped it as well, sales wise. A lot of times it depends on who's holding the belt (for younger buyers at least)...you have no clue how many cruiser belts with Rey's name we sell, simply because the young marks love him. Personally, when I buy replica belts...well, at least for now, since all I've bought thus far was a mini of the WWE Title...I like the nameplate blank. Thinking about getting it engraved with my name though. Off topic slightly...for the mini belt, is the nameplate removable or no?

ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2003 Yep, the mini's are interchangeable. OK...just found the problem I was having before... Kept trying to remove the screws on the front (the ones that I just found out were decoration) insted of the ones in the back (which actually hold on the nameplate) EDIT: Oh, and Zack...that better not have been you that handled my order in early June, where I ordered both a Micro and Mini sized WWE Title Belt (the micro is around my Dr. Evil Bobblehead's waist)...because they kept messing it up!
