Internet Warfare 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2003 Regarding the HHH injury, please end speculation that he's faking it to get out of doing a job. This is not Shawn Michaels in 1997. The severely strained groin has been diagnosed as legit, and at this point, we don't even fully know the severity of the injury. Groin injuries are a bitch because they are slow in healing and because any movement aggravates them. Granted, there is a noted history of wrestlers getting suddenly injured prior to planned world title losses, and this would be natural speculation. But for his good and bad points, this isn't the guy who is going to pull that card. If anything, he's going to come back early if at all possible to do the SummerSlam match -Meltzer There. I don't want to hear anyone to talk about HHH faking it. There's your precious Dave Meltzer telling you what's up. Jesus, he isn't my favorite wrestler or anything, but it ticks me off when people speculated just to be malicious and actually believe the things they say. Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted July 31, 2003 If it's a hernia, why would they come out and announce it as a strained groin instead of waiting until they know what it really is? Doctors are USUALLY pessimistic about injuries and ALWAYS tell people to take their time recovering. I'm skeptical about this injury and if it's a severe injury maybe Triple H should retire. I'm more skeptical about the situation surrounding the injury than the legitimacy of the injury. It's believable that he hurt himself doing a spot with Goldberg because he most likely didn't warm up or stretch and he didn't do anything in the ring prior to the Goldberg tussle. I think they should have waited until they knew what the injury was instead of speculating.
Guest BDC Report post Posted July 31, 2003 I said there'd be writing on the wall a while back. It's in bright neon paint.

Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted July 31, 2003 I never believed he was faking. I simply believe that he is the Rob Johnson of wrestling and is too injury-prone to be the go-to guy.
Guest Goose749 Report post Posted July 31, 2003 You know what they used to do to injured horses in the old west... Maybe they had the right idea.
