Guest C-Bacon Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 Ok, I'm from Mississauga (suburb of Toronto) and I plan to attend WrestleMania XX this year in NY. My aunt lives there, so i have no need for accomodation, i just need a fail proof way to get tickets. I plan on being on ticketmaster.com the second they go on sale on September 27, but like many times before, fear the server will be congested. Would ordering by phone be more efficient? How many of you guys plan on going and whats your method of getting tickets to the show?
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted July 30, 2003 Report Posted July 30, 2003 I, as well as others here usually get the password to order early before they go on sale to the general public. Keep your eyes open and you should see it. I think 1wrestling or 411 even advertised it as well.

I entered the password the very moment you were allowed too and although I spent about 4 seconds looking at the map of the stadium, I still was early enough to get very front row tickets in my section.

Anyway, I tred it all day to see how quickly the seats were filling and it wasn't crashing or even slow. The other thing to remember is that even though the building is smaller that interest in wrestling has been at a total low anymore, so you stand a very good chance of at least getting something, though not so close you can count their armpit hairs.

And the Foo Fighters were playing in a small venue, remarkably small for such a popular band, hence the frantic rush and how pissed off I was when it crashed. So it was either the popularity, or other tix were also released same day, and that crashed the site.

Then it got leaked on the net and i had to settle for 500 level seats
