This should be pretty self explanatory. I am going to take REAL Matches starting from January 2001 and sim them using EWR 4.0. So sit back and enjoy the memories.

 

1/1/01 Raw:

 

Rikishi vs Undertaker.

 

Match Background: None.

 

The Match: Rikishi takes a right hand to the temple from Undertaker. I bet those hurt more than Sgt. Slaughter's Noogies. Undertaker strikes away at Rikishi, not doing much damage at all. Undertaker strikes Rikishi. There's a two count on the pin. Undertaker with a badly-executed spinning neckbreaker on Rikishi. One more performed that badly and this match will end on a bad note, if you get my drift. Hooks the leg for a two count. Rikishi reverses a waistlock. Rikishi hits a right hand on Undertaker and follows it up with a couple more. Covers for a quick two count. Rikishi hits a sloppy double axe handle off the top. Undertaker reverses a waistlock. Side suplex from Undertaker. Undertaker moves in for the kill. Last Ride! 1....2....3.

 

My Opinion: I'll give a 1\2* rating because they were actually able to hit a couple of spots.

Match Background: None.

 

The Match: Billy gets slammed down hard and winces in pain. BIG clothesline on Billy. Tag between Val Venis and Goodfather. Goodfather with a badly-executed spinning neckbreaker on Billy. One more performed that badly and this match will end on a bad note, if you get my drift. Godfather hits a piledriver on Billy Gunn. I know I wouldn't let someone that bad give me a piledriver. Covers for a quick two count. Godfather tags out to Bull Buchanan. Godfather \ Buchanan whip Billy into the ropes and hit a double backdrop. Billy gets splashed in the corner. Billy kicks Bull Buchanan in the gut to reverse the momentum. Billy Gunn hits a right hand on Bull Buchanan. Billy tags out to Faarooq. Running clothesline from Faarooq was actually MIGHTY sloppy. Flapjack from Faarooq on Buchanan. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Faarooq slams Bull Buchanan down. Buchanan is sure in trouble now. Tag between Faarooq and Bradshaw. Bradshaw strikes Bull Buchanan. Buchanan takes a vertical suplex, but pops right back up. Bull Buchanan avoids a Bradshaw avalanche by getting out of the damn way! Tag to Val Venis. Rude Awakening neckbreaker on Bradshaw by Val. Remember when that was a legit finish? Tag between Bradshaw and Billy Gunn. Billy Gunn hits Val. Billy Gunn DDTs Val, but it just looked terrible. Val Venis is in trouble. Fame-Ass-Er!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!!

 

My Opinion: 1/4*. Be happy it's not a DUD.

Match Background: This will be a hardcore bout. This match is for the WWF Hardcore title.

 

The Match: Raven scoops and slams Tazz. What's the difference between a scoop slam and a body slam anyway? Chair shot connects! Raven hits some punches. How generic. There's a two count on the pin. Raven with a spinning neckbreaker on Tazz. Covers for a quick two count. Raven drops an elbow...but Tazz moves out of the way. Raven takes a back suplex. There's a two count on the pin. Tazz hits a stalling suplex on Raven. Raven counters a sleeper with a jaw breaker and is able to get free! DEATH VALLEY DRIVAH~! by Raven just KILLS Tazz! Tazz can barely stand. Evenflow DDT!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!!

 

My Opinion: These guys worked SO HARD...for a ** rating. Something went wrong somewhere, didn't it?

Christian, Edge, and Kurt Angle vs Chris Jericho, Bubba Ray Dudley, and D-Von Dudley.

 

Match Background: Kurt Angle is the reigning WWF World champion. Edge and Christian are the reigning WWF Tag Team champions.

 

The Match: Edge connects with a HARD right hand, sending the opponent down to the mat again. Edge snap suplexes Bubba HARD to the canvas! And again! A pair of clotheslines follow and...yep, Edge is a HOUSE...EN...FUEGO~! Tag to Kurt Angle. Angle drives a thrust kick into the chest of Bubba. Ring-shaking body slam on Bubba. Hooks the leg for a two count. Tag between Kurt Angle and Christian. Kurt Angle scoops up Bubba. Christian bounces off the ropes and hits a flying Hart Attack clothesline. THERE IT IS! A legdrop to the BACK OF THE HEAD! I swear, that makes any match just a little bit better. I don't mind telling you that every time I see it, that's for sure. Christian misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. Rude Awakening neckbreaker on Christian by Bubba. Remember when that was a legit finish? Bubba tags out to Chris Jericho. Christian takes a flying neckbreaker from Chris Jericho. Death valley driver (not to be confused with the DVD 500) by Chris Jericho connects and Christian is down! Pin, but Christian is out just before the three count. Jericho uses a basement dropkick to the knee and it looks like it might be TIME TO GO TO SCHOOL~! Jericho tags out to D-Von Dudley. Christian is a glutton for punishment and just continues to take it during this match. Christian charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Christian blocks a kick from D-Von Dudley. Christian tags out to Edge. Edge hits a dropkick on D-Von Dudley and gets right back up. D-Von tags out to Bubba Ray Dudley. Bubba Ray Dudley connects with rights and lefts and Edge is down! Bubba hits a piledriver on Edge. That used to end matches, you know. Edge is in trouble. Here it comes - Bubba Bomb. 1....2...3, it's finished.

 

My Opinion: I can be generous sometimes. Well, depends on your definition of generous. **1/4.

Match Background: This match is for the WWF Intercontinental title.

 

The Match: Chris Benoit strikes Test. Test walks into a high dropkick from Chris Benoit, almost losing several teeth in the process. Hard back suplex on Test. Come to think of it, that move had WAY too much power in No Mercy for N64. Flying elbow from Chris Benoit connects. Test is able to duck a clothesline attempt and connect with a counter clothesline. Running clothesline from Test was actually MIGHTY sloppy. Powerslam from Test on Benoit. Hooks the leg for a two count. Benoit kicks Test in the gut to reverse the momentum. SUPER frankensteiner on Test, who hit hard. Covers for a quick two count. Tiger suplex on Test. No Misawa references from me, I swear. Oh, Bloody Hell! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Test pushes out of a Chris Benoit hold. Test hits a right hand on Chris Benoit and follows it up with a couple more. Benoit counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face and hit a clothesline! Hard back suplex on Test. Come to think of it, that move had WAY too much power in No Mercy for N64. Albert comes running down the aisle and into the ring! Test turns around. Albert spins Test around. Albert hits the Baldo Bomb! Albert leaves the ring, the damage done! ONE...TWO...THREE. Benoit defeats Test.

 

My Opinion: Nothing special...nothing special at all. *1/4

Hardy Boyz vs Kai En Tai.

 

Match Background: Hardy Boyz are one of the most experienced teams in the promotion.

 

The Match: TAKA takes a NICE hurrancarana from Matt Hardy. TAKA tags out to Funaki. Matt uses a basement dropkick to the knee and it looks like it might be TIME TO GO TO SCHOOL~! Matt tags out to Jeff Hardy. Jeff crushes Funaki with a huge legdrop. Tag between Funaki and TAKA Michinoku. Flying cross body off the top rope! TAKA walks into a face crusher variation. Has anyone's face ever really been crushed by one though? Jeff Hardy has TAKA Michinoku down on the canvas and is ascending the corner. Off the top - Swanton Bomb, forget about it. 1....2...3!

 

My Opinion: All it gets is a ***1\2 rating from me. Deal with it.

The Match: Big piledriver on Rock. Death valley driver (not to be confused with the DVD 500) by Kane connects and The Rock is down! Kane scores with a standing spinebuster. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! The Rock charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Covers for a quick two count. Rock powers out of a headlock. Rude Awakening neckbreaker on Kane by Rock. Remember when that was a legit finish? The Rock hits a bulldog off the ropes. Kane once again takes the advantage after blocking a few punches and connecting with some forearms. Big piledriver on Rock. Kane moves in for the kill. Choke Slam!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!!

 

My Opinion: It was close to a ** match, but I just can't stand too many blown spots. *3/4

Match Background: This will be a special guest referee bout. Stephanie McMahon will be the referee for this match. William Regal is the reigning WWF European champion.

 

The Match: William Regal gets up and gives a Belly to belly suplex to Regal. Stone Cold tastes a high angle back suplex. If Spike Lee can sue TNN over the Spike TV nonsense, then Kurt Angle should be able to sue SOMEONE for that. Covers for a quick two count. William Regal misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. Fallaway slam by Steve Austin puts down William Regal. Hooks the leg for a two count. Full nelson slam on Regal. There's a two count on the pin. William Regal is able to duck a clothesline attempt and connect with a counter clothesline. BRAINBUSTAH~! by William Regal! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Stone Cold counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face and hit a clothesline! Steve Austin charges, Regal moves, and the referee is knocked silly! High Angle DDT by Steve Austin just SPIKES William Regal down! Cover, but there's no one to count for Steve Austin! Big piledriver on Regal. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Regal counters a sleeper with a jaw breaker and is able to get free! William Regal scores with a quick roll up. 1.2.3! Stephanie McMahon made a lightning fast three count, Steve Austin had no chance to kick out.

 

My Opinion: I'll give it a *1\2 rating. Consider getting more stars to be the adventure of a lifetime. Get started.

WWE Smackdown 1/4/01:

Chris Jericho vs Chris Benoit.

 

Match Background: This match is for the WWF Intercontinental title.

 

The Match: Chris Jericho strikes Benoit. Benoit reverses a waistlock. Spinning back kick from Chris Benoit. The ref is bumped, as goes down after accidentally getting caught by an elbow to the face. Back heel kick off the second rope and Jericho goes flying! Cover, but there's no one to count for Chris Benoit! Jericho ducks a wild right hand. Running knee lift from Chris Jericho. Jericho crushes Benoit with a running senton. Hooks the leg for a two count. Tiger suplex on Benoit. No Misawa references from me, I swear. Oh, Bloody Hell! Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Chris Jericho gets taken down out of nowhere! Springboard reverse elbow by Chris Benoit. Excellent move. Looks like Muta has giving out lessons. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Jericho reverses a waistlock. Perry Saturn runs down the aisle and into the ring, carrying a chair! Jericho turns...and gets floored with a chair to the head! The referee has no choice but to call for the bell! Disqualification! Benoit \ Saturn are beating down on Chris Jericho! The music of Jeff Hardy hits, and he comes running down the aisle into the ring. Benoit and Saturn bail out of the ring, leaving Chris Jericho down in the ring. Jeff Hardy may have saved Chris Jericho from a brutal beating.

 

My Opinion: The psychology was sound, the work was crisp, but a few awkward moments drag it down to about ****1\2.

Big clothesline from Godfather. Tag between Goodfather and Bull Buchanan. Bull Buchanan turns D-Von inside-out with a clothesline. Reminds me of Willow's 'Bored Now' skin ripping finisher. Inside joke, don't worry about it. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! D-Von counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face and hit a clothesline! Tag to Bubba Ray Dudley. Running knee lift from Bubba Ray Dudley. Dudley Boyz have Bull Buchanan to themselves. 3D! 1....2....3! It's over.

 

My Opinion: One SOLE bright spot in this match keeps it from going into DUD territory. 1/4*.

Kurt Angle fights out of a grapple. Big dropkick by Kurt Angle, who got a ton of air on the move. Rock walks into a side slam. There's a two count on the pin. Emerald Fusion by Kurt Angle on Rock! Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Rock ducks a wild right hand. Spinebuster by The Rock. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. The Rock gets taken down out of nowhere! The ref is bumped, as goes down after accidentally getting caught by an elbow to the face. Kurt Angle slides out and grabs a chair, then gets back in the ring. Chair shot missed! The Rock ducked it, and now grabs the chair. Angle takes the shot instead! Wait - the referee is back up, and is calling for the bell. He's disqualifying The Rock for using a chair! Angle ends up with a cheap victory.

 

My Opinion: Almost got a **** match, but was lacking in certain areas, so i'm knocking off a quarter of a star. Yes, there is such a thing as a quarter star. ***3/4.

Lita tags out to Matt Hardy. Matt \ Lita whip Saturn into the ropes and hit a double clothesline. Matt uses a basement dropkick to the knee and it looks like it might be TIME TO GO TO SCHOOL~! Hooks the leg for a two count. Dropkick connects to the BUTT of the jaw and Saturn goes down. Perry Saturn avoids a Matt Hardy avalanche by getting out of the damn way! Powerbomb on Matt. Tag between Perry Saturn and Terri. Terri hits a BIG clothesline for two! Messed up bodyslam by Terri almost kills Matt. Terri goes for a splash but Matt puts the knees up. Tag to Lita. Badly executed second rope splash by Lita convinces me that I can do better. Lita face jams Terri. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! HARD Chop by Lita on Terri. Terri comes up with a right hand out of nowhere. Messed up bodyslam by Terri almost kills Lita. Dean Malenko comes running down the aisle with a chair! Terri whips Lita into the ropes. Malenko jumps onto the apron with the chair! Collision between Malenko, Lita, and the chair! Lita staggers back into a roll up! 1...2...3! It's over!

 

My Opinion: -*. That's right. NEGATIVE ONE STAR. That's what you get for this CRAP.

Hooks the leg for a two count. Val reverses a waistlock. Full nelson slam on Billy. Hooks the leg for a two count. Death valley driver by Val Venis! No one executes that move properly anymore. Pin, but Billy is out just before the three count. Billy Gunn elbows Val Venis in the face to break a hammerlock. Val receives some punishment by Billy Gunn but with that horrid offense, we're the only ones truly being punished. Val ducks a wild right hand. Fallaway slam by Val Venis puts down Billy Gunn. Steven Richards comes running down the aisle with a chair! Val whips Billy Gunn into the ropes. Steven jumps onto the apron with the chair! Collision between Steven, Billy, and the chair! Billy Gunn staggers back into a roll up! 1...2...3! It's over!

 

My Opinion: Not good enough to earn an entire star. 3/4* for you.

Test backdrops Rikishi out of a piledriver attempt. That took a lot out of Test. Rikishi receives some punishment by Test but with that horrid offense, we're the only ones truly being punished. There's a two count on the pin. Powerslam from Test on Rikishi. Rikishi counters a sleeper with a jaw breaker and is able to get free! Rikishi turns Test inside-out with a clothesline. Reminds me of Willow's 'Bored Now' skin ripping finisher. Inside joke, don't worry about it. Trish Stratus has climbed up onto the apron! Test turns...and falls for the distraction! Rikishi attacks Test from behind! Test is in trouble. Rikishi Driver! 1....2....3.

 

My Opinion: DUD. That's about all I can say without getting into obsenities.

Trying to channel the spirit of Misawa, Kane ends up chanelling Lex Luger instead and nails a running forearm to the face, minus the steel plate, of course. Kane misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. Undertaker DDTs Kane, but it just looked terrible. Weak bodyslam by Undertaker. Covers for a quick two count. Death valley driver (not to be confused with the DVD 500) by Kane connects and Undertaker is down! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Undertaker elbows Kane in the face to break a hammerlock. Weak bodyslam by Undertaker. Spear! Undertaker is down! Undertaker can barely stand. Stone Cold Stunner! 1....2....3.

 

My Opinion: **1/4 rating for this one. Scott Keith may say that it's 'Perfectly Acceptable Wrestling', but not for me, buddy. Got to work harder to impress me.

Rikishi counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face and hit a clothesline! Big piledriver on Kane. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Yes someone who enjoys booking old WWE/WWF angles and see how the rate on EWR! Did you download a scenerio to get accurate rosters or did you create it yourself? I've been wanting to re-sim the Invasion angle and see if it bombs on EWR.

I downloaded the 3.0 Scenario of of RaveX and converted it to 4.0. I also put all the WCW guys who were in the Invasion in Developemental.

Frying pan shot by Hardcore. Hardcore Holly hits a sloppy double axe handle off the top. There's a two count on the pin. Blackman kicks Hardcore Holly in the gut to reverse the momentum. Hardcore walks into a side slam. Think about how much talent it takes to side slam someone. Nash can do it. There's a two count on the pin. Death valley driver by Steve Blackman! No one executes that move properly anymore. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Hardcore counters an arm wringer with an elbow to the side of the head. Kurt Angle charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Angle reverses a Steve Austin hammerlock. Hard impact Russian Leg Sweep by Angle. According to some other reviewers around here, 'legsweep' is one word. Tag to Rikishi. Steve Austin takes a right hand to the temple from Rikishi. Rikishi scores with a crappy looking standing spinebuster. Could have been done a hell of a lot better though. Pin, but Stone Cold is out just before the three count. Running clothesline from Rikishi was actually MIGHTY sloppy. Tag between Rikishi and Kane. Kane hits some punches. How generic. Kane slams Steve Austin down and motions to the crowd. Stone Cold counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face and hit a clothesline! Stone Cold tags out to The Rock. BIG clothesline on Kane. Tag to Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle gets up and gives a Belly to belly suplex to Angle. Rock blocks the suplex attempt and is able to hit the suplex instead! Kurt Angle gets knocked to the ground by Rock. Here it comes - Peoples Elbow, forget about it. 1....2...3!

Lightning kick by Christian on D-Von. Covers for a quick two count. Tag between Christian and Edge. Edge hits a piledriver on D-Von Dudley. That used to end matches, you know. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! BAAACK Body drop by D-Von gets a bit of a pop from the crowd. D-Von pushes out of a Edge hold. D-Von Dudley with a spinning neckbreaker on Edge. Tag between D-Von Dudley and Bubba Ray Dudley. STIFF~! chop lights up Edge who covers up to try and stop the agonizing PAIN! Tag to Christian. BIG clothesline on Christian. Christian is in big trouble...3D!! 1....2....3!

Match Background: This will be a ladder bout. This match is for the WWF Intercontinental title.

 

The Match: Splash from the top of the ladder, reminiscent of HBK at Wrestlemania 10! VICIOUS lightning kick by Benoit on Jericho. Chris Jericho fights out of a grapple. Big forearm by Chris Jericho makes me want to go to the mirror and check MY teeth. Flying elbow from Chris Jericho connects. Chris Jericho drives the ladder into Benoit. Stun Gun from Chris Jericho! I still can't believe that was Austin's finisher at one point. Benoit kicks Chris Jericho in the gut to reverse the momentum. VICIOUS lightning kick by Benoit on Jericho. DDT from the top rope by Chris Benoit. That looked KILLER! Second rope flying axe handle, Jericho goes down. One day, Benoit might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. Benoit hits a face jam on Chris Jericho onto the ladder! Jericho blocks the suplex attempt and is able to hit the suplex instead! Jericho uses a basement dropkick to the knee and it looks like it might be TIME TO GO TO SCHOOL~! Death valley driver (not to be confused with the DVD 500) by Chris Jericho connects and Chris Benoit is down! Chris Jericho floors Chris Benoit. Here it comes...Walls Of Jericho! Chris Benoit is almost unconscious with pain! Chris Jericho sets the ladder up and climbs it, grabbing the prize for the victory.

 

My Opinion: This match had it all! Big bumps, incredible, crisp moves, sound psychology. Simply one of the best matches of the year. *****!

The Match: Ivory DDTs Chyna in a move that is so poorly executed, you can actually see that Chyna's head didn't touch the mat at all. Side suplex from Ivory. Could have been done a hell of a lot better though. Sloppy discus punch from Ivory barely connects on Chyna. Pin, but Chyna is out just before the three count. Ivory hits a BIG clothesline for two! There's a two count on the pin. Ivory goes for a splash but Chyna puts the knees up. Big kick from Chyna staggers Ivory but that's about it. Chyna hits a sloppy double axe handle off the top. Ivory powers out of a Chyna headlock. Messed up bodyslam by Ivory almost kills Chyna. Chyna can barely stand. Fallaway Slam!!! That shook the ring. 1....2....3!!

 

My Opinion: DUD. That's about all I can say without getting into obsenities.

There's a two count on the pin. Tiger suplex on HHH. No Misawa references from me, I swear. Oh, Bloody Hell! Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. HHH gets caught with a short powerbomb from Angle. HHH blocks a punch. Massive backbreaker on Angle and I get happy flashbacks to Bret Hart's Five Moves of DOOM. There's a two count on the pin. Triple H scores with a big spinebuster. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Flying shoulder tackle by HHH sends Angle CRASHING to the mat. Angle takes a headbutt from Triple H. Kurt Angle elbows Triple H in the face to break a hammerlock. HHH gets caught with a short powerbomb from Angle. BURNING HAMMER~! from Kurt Angle is executed with perfect brutally! Steve Austin comes running down the aisle and into the ring! Triple H turns around. Steve Austin spins HHH around. Steve Austin hits the Stone Cold Stunner! Stone Cold leaves the ring, the damage done! ONE...TWO...THREE. Angle defeats HHH.

Matt Hardy once again takes the advantage after blocking a few punches and connecting with some forearms. Flying elbow from Matt Hardy connects. Tag to Jeff Hardy. Dropkick connects to the BUTT of the jaw and Bradshaw goes down. Jeff Hardy hits a rolling kick on Bradshaw. Konnan has ruined any chance for me ever enjoying this maneuver again with his shitty execution of it. Bradshaw avoids a Jeff Hardy avalanche by getting out of the damn way! Jeff gets splashed in the corner. Tag to Faarooq. Faarooq scores with a crappy looking standing spinebuster. Could have been done a hell of a lot better though. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Ivory hits some weak-looking punches in the corner, but Molly Holly is able to block them and return the favor in spades. Covers for a quick two count. Weak slam from Ivory sets Molly for something, but if it was as weak as that slam, then Molly has no worries. There's a two count on the pin. Molly counters a sleeper with a jaw breaker and is able to get free! Ivory walks into a high dropkick from Molly Holly, almost losing several teeth in the process. There's a two count on the pin. Ivory takes a NICE hurrancarana from Molly Holly. Ivory flips out of a Molly Holly bodyslam attempt. Side suplex from Ivory. Could have been done a hell of a lot better though. Steven Richards comes running down the aisle with a chair! Ivory whips Molly Holly into the ropes. Steven jumps onto the apron with the chair! Collision between Steven, Molly, and the chair! Rikishi drops an elbow...but Kane moves out of the way. Bodyslam by Kane. Kane scores with a standing spinebuster. Rikishi is in trouble. Here it comes - Choke Slam. Haku slides into the ring out of nowhere! Kane takes a stiff punch to the face and falls to the canvas. The referee calls for the DQ as Haku continues to attack Kane. Rikishi and Haku are beating the hell out of Kane! Undertaker sprints down the aisle and slides into the ring! He goes toe-to-toe with Rikishi, exchanging punches, while Kane comes back, sending Haku out of the ring with a clothesline. Brothers Of Destruction have cleared the ring, driving off Rikishi and Haku!

Flying knee to the face from Chaz. For the record it was more of a Rusty Wizard than a Shining one. Tag to D'Lo. D-Von Dudley charges into the corner, but EATS BOOT and staggers backward. Spear by D'Lo. D-Von blocks a kick from D'Lo. D-Von tags out to Bubba Ray Dudley. Big piledriver on D'Lo. Massive lariat! Stan Hansen would approve. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! Trying to channel the spirit of Misawa, Bubba Ray Dudley ends up chanelling Lex Luger instead and nails a running forearm to the face, minus the steel plate, of course. D'Lo fights out of a grapple. Full nelson slam on Bubba. D'Lo misses a clothesline...and takes out the referee accidentally! D'Lo slides out and grabs a chair, then gets back in the ring. Chair shot missed! Bubba Ray Dudley ducked it, and now grabs the chair. D'Lo takes the shot instead! Wait - the referee is back up, and is calling for the bell. He's disqualifying Bubba Ray Dudley for using a chair! D'Lo ends up with a cheap victory. Dudley Boyz don't look like they're finished by any means...and they rush forward to attack Lo Down, and send them to the outside. Threats are exchanged as the chaos ends.

 

My Opinion: Some blown spots really drag this match down a notch, so its ***1\2 for you.

Undertaker turns Rikishi inside-out with a clothesline. Reminds me of Willow's 'Bored Now' skin ripping finisher. Inside joke, don't worry about it. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! He goes toe-to-toe with Rikishi, exchanging punches, while Undertaker comes back, sending Haku out of the ring with a clothesline. Brothers Of Destruction have cleared the ring, driving off Rikishi and Haku!

Crash counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face and hit a clothesline! Buchanan takes a vertical suplex from Crash Holly. Tag between Crash Holly and Hardcore Holly. Hardcore Holly scores with a crappy looking standing spinebuster. Could have been done a hell of a lot better though. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Hardcore Holly strikes Bull Buchanan with a hard blow. Ivory comes running down the aisle with a chair! Al Snow plants Rios with an EXPLODAH~! suplex. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Big dropkick by Al Snow, who got a ton of air on the move. Covers for a quick two count. Rios counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face and hit a clothesline! Rios hits a dropkick on Al Snow and gets right back up. Flying cross body off the top rope! Snow counters a sleeper with a jaw breaker and is able to get free! Doctor Bomb connects and Rios landed hard. Essa Rios can barely stand. Snow Plow! 1....2....3.

 

My Opinion: I'll give a 3/4 star rating, but only if you promise to improve as a booker.

Tiger Ali \ Chaz whip D-Von into the ropes and hit a double back elbow. There's a two count on the pin. D-Von blocks the suplex attempt and is able to hit the suplex instead! Nice piledriver on Chaz. Tag to Bubba Ray Dudley. DEATH VALLEY DRIVAH~! by Bubba Ray Dudley just KILLS Chaz! Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Chaz takes a headbutt from Bubba Ray Dudley. Chaz backdrops Bubba Ray Dudley out of a piledriver attempt. That took a lot out of Chaz. Tag to Tiger Ali Singh. Kai En Tai whip Bubba into the corner. Funaki whips TAKA Michinoku in for a hard clothesline to follow-up. Spin kick by TAKA Michinoku to the face sends the opponent FLYING across the ring. VICIOUS lightning kick by TAKA on Bubba. Tag between TAKA Michinoku and Funaki. Implant DDT by Funaki! I will always and forever mark out for that move. Bubba Ray Dudley pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. Bubba tags out to D-Von Dudley. Spinebuster by D-Von Dudley. Funaki is all alone...3D!! 1....2....3!

 

My Opinion: Great match. Most people would give it ****3/4 or more, but I guess I'm a harsh grader. ****1\2 for you.

Jacqueline DDTs Lita in a move that is so poorly executed, you can actually see that Lita's head didn't touch the mat at all. Cover, ONE...TWO...NO! I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Powerslam from Jacqueline on Lita. Lita is able to duck a clothesline attempt and connect with a counter clothesline. Flying elbow off the top rope by Lita, but there was NO elevation off the leap. Back heel kick from Lita on Jacquie. Jacqueline elbows Lita in the face to break a hammerlock. Ivory just slid into the ring out of nowhere! Ivory has a chair, and drops Jacquie and Lita with devastating blows, causing the referee to call for the bell. This match has been ruled a no contest! Jacquie and Lita tie Ivory up in the ropes, then start punching away at her until referees run down and break it up.

The Match: Jeff Hardy hits a rolling kick on D-Von. Konnan has ruined any chance for me ever enjoying this maneuver again with his shitty execution of it. Diamond Dust from Matt Hardy and Bubba is out! Hardy Boyz whip D-Von into the corner. Matt Hardy whips Jeff Hardy in for a hard clothesline to follow-up. Jeff Hardy goes to slam Bubba through a table, but he manages to escape. Matt Hardy misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. Rude Awakening neckbreaker on Jeff Hardy by Bubba. Remember when that was a legit finish? Bubba Ray Dudley goes to suplex Jeff through a table, but he slips out the backdoor. Death valley driver (not to be confused with the DVD 500) by D-Von Dudley connects and Matt Hardy is down! Bubba climbs onto the table with Jeff Hardy and hits a bodyslam through it for the win!

I honestly thought that match was going to end right then and there. Rock backdrops Triple H out of a piledriver attempt. That took a lot out of The Rock. Nice piledriver on HHH. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! I would have bought that as the finish! Rock goes for a splash but HHH puts the knees up. Kurt Angle just slid into the ring out of nowhere! The Rock gets grabbed, and they start brawling. HHH takes some shots at Rock as well. The referee, seeing the chaos, calls for a no contest ruling. We have a three-way stand off in the ring, as Triple H, The Rock and Kurt Angle look at each other. They all charge forward, and a three-way brawl erupts in the ring! This is chaos! After a few minutes of fast and furious action, a motley crew of referees and stagehands hit the ring to break it up.

Test strikes William Regal with a hard blow. Test misses a clothesline. Massive back suplex! Test got snapped in half, but not literally because that would just end the match now wouldn't it. Covers for a quick two count. Wicked suplex out of the corner from William Regal, is executed so well, it hurt MY back. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Vertical suplex by William Regal. Running clothesline from Rikishi was actually MIGHTY sloppy. Weak bodyslam by Rikishi. Tag to Haku. Bubba gets splashed in the corner. Bubba Ray Dudley pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. The Match: Kurt Angle takes a right hand to the temple from Show. I bet those hurt more than Sgt. Slaughter's Noogies. Show eats a trash can, but not the contents in it, obviously. Kurt Angle comes up with a right hand out of nowhere. Doctor Bomb and Rock is hurt. Show gets rocked with a brutal elbow to the jaw by Angle. A few more of those and Show will go down worse than Bart Gunn at 'Mania 15. Covers for a quick two count. Death valley driver by The Rock! No one executes that move properly anymore. Hooks the leg! ONE...TWO...NO! Angle backdrops The Rock out of a piledriver attempt. That took a lot out of Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle uses a big bag of popcorn to floor Rock. I wonder if butter adds impact. BAAACK Body drop by Regal gets a bit of a pop from the crowd. Covers for a quick two count. William Regal elbows The Rock in the face to break a hammerlock. Vertical suplex by William Regal. Big forearm by William Regal makes me want to go to the mirror and check MY teeth. Hard impact Russian Leg Sweep by Regal. According to some other reviewers around here, 'legsweep' is one word. Regal walks into a drop toe hold. Rock hits a piledriver on William Regal. That used to end matches, you know. The Rock moves in for the kill. Here it comes - Rock Bottom. Kurt Angle quickly comes running down the aisle and into the ring! The Rock turns around. Kurt Angle spins Rock around. Kurt Angle hits the Olympic Slam! The referee calls for the DQ because of the interference of Angle! The Rock fights back, and has soon sent both William Regal and Kurt Angle into retreat.

Angle and Regal bail out of the ring, leaving Steve Austin down in the ring. The Rock may have saved Steve Austin from a brutal beating.

Christian comes running down the aisle and into the ring! D-Von Dudley turns around. Christian spins D-Von around. Christian hits the Unprettier! Christian leaves the ring, the damage done! What's the difference between a scoop slam and a body slam anyway? Jeff reverses a waistlock. Spinning bulldog in the corner and Bubba is down! Angle takes a vertical suplex, but pops right back up. Powerslam from Test on Angle. Kurt Angle elbows Test in the face to break a hammerlock. Test got absolutely creamed by a KILLER back suplex. Kurt Angle moves in for the kill. Here it comes - Olympic Slam. 1....2...3, it's finished.

 

My Opinion: Slightly above average match. Only gets a **3\4 rating from me.
