Hey guys, I'm mainly talking about the Nwa 1989 and any years before....I thought it would be interesting to see which wrestlers came out to real music in the nwa...here's all I could think of for now:

Dusty Rhodes-Purple Rain(around 1984)

Manny Fernandez-Beat It

Steiner Brothers-Welcome to the Jungle

Road Warriors-Iron Man

Any others?

Dusty also used:

"Old Time Rock 'N Roll" (when teaming with Ronnie Garvin)

"You Can't Judge A Book (By Looking At The Cover)" by Hank Williams Jr./Huey Lewis

"Holding Out For A Hero" by Bonnie Tyler

Jimmy Garvin used to come out to the tune of ZZ Top's "Sharp Dressed Man." As a little kid watching NWA Worldwide, that made the guy pretty cool in my eyes. Of course, taking his actual in-ring skill under consideration, that was probably the best part about the guy not counting Precious. I also loved the Road Warriors coming out to "Iron Man," and that's actually how I got into Black Sabbath. For that and their haircuts, I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Hawk and Animal. :headbang:

The Samoan Swat Team used the theme song from Halloween.

Terry Funk used a fantastic song during his stint in 89. I don't recall the name but it was from an old Spaghetti Western from the 60s.

The New Breed came out to a Beastie Boys song (but they were only there for a short period of time.)

The Midnight Express used "The Chase" for much of their run.

Didn't he use Desperado as well? Or was that just ECW?

I thought it was Tom Sawyer too, because he was the Modern Day Warrior. Maybe he used both?

Hmmmm, I swore it was "Working Man", but I think you're right it was "Tom Sawyer".

Just watching Halloween Havoc '89 and Brian Pillman came out to "Rocket" by Def Leppard.

It was Tom Sawyer that Kerry Von Erich used. And Kevin Von Erich used to use Stranglehold, by Ted Nugent.

For a couple of coked up dimwitted hicks, the Von Erichs had some pretty good taste in music.

world class had cool entrance music. the best theme ever:

rick rude-smooth operator by sade

if my memory serves me correctly, it was prefaced with a woman cooing "ooh, Ricky, you're so ravishing" before the song actually started.
