Zack Malibu Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 I have to admit this, but I fucking MARKED OUT~! when Oliver got popped tonight. I even called my friend Kristen down in Florida (got her into the show when she was back up here visiting) and she admitted doing the same thing. Oliver truly is the best heel on TV, and the end to this ep was fucking great. I've gotta say, I really felt for Ryan and got behind him in this ep, if only because I've been in pretty much the same situation (guy tries to move in on girl and plays "friends", girl is too blind to see through him, but boyfriend does and wants to kill him. Yeah, I was in the boyfriend role). I'm starting to like babyface Luke more and more now too.
Guest Choken One Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Babyface luke reminds me Lex Luger... Big, Dumb and Blonde but dangerous.
Guest Choken One Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 for what exactly? The show was already aired and I'm speculating on the previews they showed...that's no spoiler
OldSchoolWrestling Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 I have to admit this, but I fucking MARKED OUT~! when Oliver got popped tonight. I'm starting to like babyface Luke more and more now too. The only thing that would have topped this would have been if Luke kicked Oliver in the ribs after he got dropped. Sandy can do no wrong, EVER! When he told Ryan that he should wish he'd be kicked out because he isn't going anywhere, that totally added to his awesomeness.

The best was when Danny was over though... "Man, that kid is NOT funny!"
Guest El Satanico Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 Choken WHERES THE SPOILER TAGS??? What exactly did he spoil? All he said is that Luke is big, dumb and blonde. Everyone knows that.
BlackFlagg Posted January 22, 2004 Report Posted January 22, 2004 JUst another great episoode...but 3 weeks till the next new episode? I hope Danny was just a one shot thing since SUmmer is dropping him....because as Sandy said, he is NOT funny. And Luke's turn keeps getting better, glad they found use for him.... And Seth gains more coolness for being a Daily Show man
syxx2001 Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 No, I was gonna tell Choken something, but the spoiler tags dont work anymore.
Guest El Satanico Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 They haven't reinstalled the spoiler tags yet. They said it's on the list and will be fixed in due time.
Dr. Zoidberg Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 What I found odd was how Anna invited Seth to BRIGHT EYES, which is one of my fave bands. Anyway, fuck Oliver. The only real problem is with this whole "Ryan beats the shit out of him" thing is: Now Ryan's in an even deeper hole. It'll be interesting to see how the writers get him out of it.
Guest Choken One Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Uh...Seeing how Oliver takes Marissa hostage with a fucking Gun and Ryan plays neogotiator... I think Ryan kinda proves his point to Marissa...
Dr. Zoidberg Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 Hey, here's an idea: Assume for a second that maybe someone didn't the see the preview for the new episode or read what other people wrote. Does that sound ok to you? but...yeah, holding a girl hostage with a gun is a good idea.
Zack Malibu Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 Snagged an OC poster at WalMart last night. Got the group shot of Ryan, Marissa, Summer and Seth, with Kirsten and Sandy shown on the bottom as well. They had one of Ryan alone too. Where's my Rachel Bilson one, dammit? Hell, I'll probably buy 'em all and line 'em up side by side, lol.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted January 29, 2004 Report Posted January 29, 2004 Um... so... why do we have to wait 3 weeks ? There's a repeat on now.
OldSchoolWrestling Posted January 29, 2004 Report Posted January 29, 2004 Um... so... why do we have to wait 3 weeks ? There's a repeat on now. I agree. You have American Idol as the lead in and you show a repeat. Not a good decision.
Guest Ghettoman Posted January 29, 2004 Report Posted January 29, 2004 Could they be afraid of overkill? Or maybe American Idol goes away for a bit when they come back and they want to be able to stay strong? I don't really care, it's not like the show isn't still good the second time around, and they will be back soon anyway, but it is a good question.
Zack Malibu Posted January 29, 2004 Report Posted January 29, 2004 I loved the new preview they showed last night with Sandy and Seth's sex talk. I think I can guarantee that'll be the most hilarious moments of the new episode. Shit, I tape the show weekly and I still watched the repeat last night.
OldSchoolWrestling Posted January 29, 2004 Report Posted January 29, 2004 Shit, I tape the show weekly and I still watched the repeat last night. I tape every episode and taped last night's again, just so I can tape in SP mode to get it in higher quality.
Guest El Satanico Posted January 29, 2004 Report Posted January 29, 2004 Aren't they doing repeats because there's not enough episodes to last until the end of the television season?
OldSchoolWrestling Posted January 29, 2004 Report Posted January 29, 2004 I don't know because I heard they had 28 shows for season 1. Thats a lot more than most shows. But then again they did start early buy starting the first of August when most shows on Fox waited until October.

Guest Posted January 30, 2004 Report Posted January 30, 2004 I thought the Dell dude was on probation, or in Jail. Didn't he get busted for attempting to buy a pound of Weed ? I know I've seen Danny from somewhere though... He was that guy that lives next door on Grounded For Life, just so you know.
Guest Posted January 30, 2004 Report Posted January 30, 2004 I remembered right when I saw him and then my brother said, "That's the guy from Grounded For Life." That's all.

The only song I even know off hand is California, which I've already got. The Something Corporate song ("Space") that they showed the video clip of in the middle of one ep (remember they did the "after the show video premiere on AOL" promotion?) is really good, but I don't know if it was actually on the show. And yeah, no Rooney? They should have included Luke's version of the Rooney song as a bonus.
Zack Malibu Posted February 9, 2004 Report Posted February 9, 2004 BUMP Preview, courtesy of Yahoo: "The Truth", Episode #118. Caleb wants Kirsten to get rid of Julie; Sandy and Kirsten tire of Ryan; Ryan and Luke agree to work together against Oliver; Marissa learns the truth about Oliver. Sounds interesting. Kirsten and Sandy getting pissed with Ryan? And I can totally see Luke using the whole "I know you're good for her, but he's not" routine when it comes to aiding Ryan in getting back at Oliver.
Guest bort Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 good episode tonite, I dont want to spoil anything for the americans but its one of the more exciting shows of the year, I do feel some of the stuff was a little rushed though...ill post more of my thoughts when everyone else sees the show
Guest Ghettoman Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 "Sandy and Kirsten tire of Ryan" That better be because of the Oliver thing, if Sandy tweens at all we lose half the jokes we otherwise would get.
