Vin Diesel also won't be battling pirates, as was reported, in the follow-up which starts filming next summer. "No, it's not pirates. I can tell you that it takes place in the United States." The switch has nothing to do with Pirates of the Caribbean stealing the pirate movie thunder. "We just ultimately decided that this fit the characters better, or actually was something a little different than what you'd expect." Where XXX had exotic foreign locales, Moritz promised an equal spectacle for the U.S. based sequel. "It's not necessarily that it has to be exotic. It just has to be really cinematic. There's plenty in the United States that we can have." XXX2 is expected to hit theaters in the summer of 2005. Eh... F*** is the point ? No Rob Cohen ? No Asia Argento ? Blah.

This is supposed to be Gen X Bond. So there's gonna be a new XXX Chick everytime. I'll miss her, but this just means there will be some other hot chick there, so what. I am shocked that Rob Cohen didnt come back. Him and Vin seem to be such BUTT buddies. Remember Vin didn't do 2F2F because Cohen wouldn't.

If only him and Lucy didn't get into their damn squabble... Not that I got anything against Bernie Mac, he's a great and funny guy, but Bill just played the role better.

Everything about XXX was horrid and the only thing that would've made it slightly better would've been Asia getting naked. By the way I actually like Vin so this isn't coming from someone who doesn't like Vin. XXX was terrible on every level and nothing good can come of XXXX, unless a decent director takes the project for some reason.

Jackson is a tough, smart-aleck guy is a rip-off of Jules. However, they're all poor rip-offs because they lack Jules fantastic dialogue. Thus, unless they can give him some good dialogue, Jackson would be a waste in an increased role, much as he was a waste in the first film (which I actually enjoyed).

Or that dude from Caveman's Valentine... All right, ya got me. Not all of them (surprised anyone else has seen Caveman's Valentine, most people I talk to haven't even heard of it). But what matters is that his character in xXx is, or at least seemed to be to me.
