I just wrote a walkthrough for FeeDVD4Me.com...

Recommended Posts

I got nailed on one of those "Free 1 day trial" offers. I signed up for Win Any Lotto, signed up for the free one day pass, and they immediately charged $39.95 to my credit card. I immediately cancelled, immediately emailed their support and nothing. That was well over a week ago and nothing. I emailed support at Freedvd4me and they said there is nothing they could do about it. I'm going to keep trying with the lotto people and will be contacting paypal to see if they can do anything, but I think I'm screwed.

Well, I got my statement in the mail today and guess what? This shit is a god damn scam. I've got payments of $39.95, two payments of $2.95 and one payment of $1 all to paycom.net. This is roughly how many deals I did on the site and I cancelled ALL of them right after and got my notice of cancellation via email later on, as well. So what should I do now, DH? I did everything you instructed in the walkthrough and now I'm out almost $50. Yeah, some great deal!

*edit* Ok I just got off the phone with billing support and guess what? They're not going to be removing any of the charges mentioned up above. All of them were from sites that DH himself suggested in the walkthrough and I did exactly what he said to do. I cancelled immediately and was still billed for them. The lady at billing support said that even though I had cancelled all memberships, I still had access to these stupid sites, hence the charges will remain. So yeah, I'm out almost 50 bucks and I don't even have enough points to get a DVD that would cost more than $20. I thank you for presenting this scam here at TSM, DH.

Is the billing support person you are talking about at the website company? Because as you can see above, I am having the same problem. But I'm going through my credit card company and telling them that I did not authorize these people to charge me anything. I had to mail them a signed form and they said it could take up to 60 days for them to get back to me.

Yeah they were at the website. I'd do what you're doing but I just don't see it working. I can see my credit card company saying that I willingly gave them my CC number and agreed to the terms. Of course, they didn't make it sound like I'd be charged 40 bucks, but once I got my cancellation notice from them, I knew it was trouble because of the way they worded it. If it works out for you then maybe I'll give it a shot, but as of right now, I'm just going to cut my losses and try and let everyone know what a scam this thing really is. I'm sure there are some sites on the program that really do refund your money, but all of the ones from DH's walkthrough that I used, charged me and aren't going to refund any of it.

This isn't a scam. The offers I listed would NOT charge you $39.95 without your consent. I believe the ones are Psychics4Free, PsychicRealm, FreeBidding, and Official Auctions.

The WinAnyLotto, Driving4Dollars, and the FitMD offer WILL charge you money however, or at least a pending charge, and I am talking to the BBB about those three offers.

If you ONLY did the offers I told you to do, did you make sure, 100% sure, that when you signed up for them all that you clicked the box that was only for $1-$2.95, or even the free box? The default box that is checked, is the box where you WILL get charged.

If you signed up for the offers, you will also get charged if you don't cancel each offer as I described to do. Did you cancel them all, if you made sure you didn't leave the normal membership box checked?

If you did all of that, they will give you back your money if you were charged without your consent.

You need to contact not only PayCom.net, but also those specific sites that charged you.

I've never heard of, or had, ANYONE be charged from ANY of the sites listed in my guide, as long as you made sure you signed up/cancelled the right way. I've done all of the offers in my guide maybe, ten times each, and it's never been charged to me.

If you want, I'll even call the company for you or something. Just let me know, and I'll help you out and tell you just who to talk to, etc...

I did everything you said to do and all that. I cancelled all of the offers/memberships right after I signed up for them and got my confirmation via email, as well. And to boot, I only got points for three of the six offers I signed up for. You can call the company if you'd like, but I don't know if they'll tell you anything that they didn't tell me.

Contact me on AIM using Downhome00 so I can talk to you personally.

I emailed them on Friday with the subject being "I am in contact with the BBB"

Within 24 hours they emailed me stating they are processing a refund which I should receive in 5-10 business days.

I told you, once you are firm with these people they'll be your bitch.

On the other hand, I got my Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: Criterion Collection in the mail today from FreeDVDs. While that's good and all, it's not the best part!

I also got my Family Guy Volume 2 set in the mail from them as well, one day before it's street date, woohoo!
