The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2003 Triple H has always had good music, even in 1995. 1. That first Greenwich Snob song with the harpsichord was one of the better themes in its day. 2. Ode to Joy worked but wasn't as good as the first. Still, doesn't bring him down. 3. The DX theme was and is awesome. 4. There was that little-known in-between theme that lasted a month. Not good but not enough to count. 5. The instrumental My Time was cool. 6. My Time with the words was even better. 7. The Game is awesome, but I'm not sure if it was better than My Time. This is a debate I often have with friends. Christian did okay over the years. 1. The Gangrel theme was awesome back in the day. 2. The oft-forgotten track from Volume 4. Ah yes. That was great. Used it once, if ever. 3. Edge's theme was good but nothing great. 4. The opera music was sweet. 5. Un-Americans theme was a little bland, but it goes with Lance Storm so it's okay. 6. I don't know WHAT he's got now. Steve Austin 1. The Ringmaster theme was cool, reminded me of the alternate Demolition theme. 2. The classic Stone Cold theme is untouchable. 3. Some people like Disturbed's better but I'm not one of them. 4. Short-lived slowed up theme from the Alliance was neat. 5. The quicker Alliance theme did nothing for me. 6. See #2. Add more here
Guest Ray Report post Posted August 25, 2003 I agree with Christian and Austin. The Brood theme was AWESOME. "You Think You Know Me" fit E & C perfectly. The big opera theme was great, especially the full version with all the words and huge pyro (I'm still pissed that they dropped it). Austin's music is the best EVER. The Disturbed version was good but not great like the original. His Alliance speed metal was cool as hell. Another would be Undertaker. The darkside music he used for most of the 90's was great, the Ministry theme was also good and I liked the theme he had before the current one (same basic song without vocals). Fökai 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2003 Too lazy to list all of Taker's themes (or maybe I'm just sane), but his theme which debuted at Fully Loaded 1998 was HANDS-DOWN the best theme he's used. It started with the usual "BONG", but was pierced through with a guitar riff as the "BONG"'s increased. The song then progressed into the Taker's usual theme at the time, but with a quicker rock tempo. Eagan, if you could help me out with finding this theme CDQ, I'd PayPal you a few bucks or something (it's difficult to find for me - I don't know if it's on any WWE-released CD's). The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2003 Taker's never had a bad theme. You've done it now, you've gone and made a big mistake. And I can't allow, you to think you can just walk away.
Adam 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2003 ^good point. I LOVE Christians Volume 4 music. Its something that I would use if I was ever a wrestler. Austins theme is immortal. Taker has had awesome music up until 'You're gonna pay'. I hated the JD 2002 version, liked the cool guitar riif version that is in SD4 the video game, and I hate the version with words. Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2003 You've done it now, you've gone and made a big mistake. And I can't allow, you to think you can just walk away. I agree, I hate his current. The guitar riff he had before You're Gonna Pay was awesome although his 1998 rock version of his theme (I heard it was done by Motley Crue) is my favorite of Taker's theme. For my add, I'll use Raven and The Rock (if I miss any, my bad) Raven: 1.) His ECW theme I forgot what it was 2.) His WCW guitar theme that sounded similar to Seven Mary Three's "Water's Edge" to me. (His WCW theme is my fav of his) 3.) What About Me? (His WWE theme) 4.) End of Everything (The Forceable Entry version of What About Me?) 5.) His NWA:TNA theme The Rock 1.) Destiny (when he was Rocky Maivia) 2.) NOD theme 3.) Know Your Role (when he became the NOD leader) 4.) Know Your Role remix (when he became a face) 5.) If You Smell... (when he came back in summer 2001 I believe) 6.) Gone Hollywood (my favorite of his) And I always liked HBK's 1992 theme better with Sherri singing the entire song of "Sexy Boy"
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2003 I like the Disturbed theme, but the lyrics make no sense.. Step up cause you're the next in line that for the kill you don't believe it but I'm betting that you will (Alright so far..) Step up I'll let you live with the little bit of the pain that I bring ??? (If they're next in line to be killed, why let em live?) you know it's only the beginning I'm breaking the living inside you ??? (makes absolutely no sense..I used to think it was Im making a living inside you..) stop making someone to hide you?? (Huh?)
Guest BAR Report post Posted September 2, 2003 1.) His ECW theme I forgot what it was 2.) His WCW guitar theme 1.) His ECW theme was 'Come Out And Play' by the Offspring. Good song. 2.) His WCW theme was a Nirvana 'Come As You Are' rip-off.
