Edge has updated his "Edgeucation" column on WWE.com. This week, he talks about the band Skid Row and how he was playing guitar on stage with the band. He also talks about drinkining, which diva he would pick as his manager, and loads more. To read it, click here.

Bret Hart has updated the commentary on his site, www.brethart.com. In it, he talks about visiting with WWE superstars on the 8/2 weekend, meeting superstars he's never met before, and reminisces about his early days in the business.

The 8/9 edition of Velocity did a 0.7 cable rating, with a 1.3 share.

The 8/9 edition of Confidential did a 0.7 cable rating, with a 1.5 share.

The 8/10 edition of Sunday Night Heat did a 0.8 cable rating, with a 1.6 share.

Although The Undertaker picked up the win against John Cena at Vengeance, Cena didn't seem to mind doing the job and even claimed that it was an honor to work with someone on the level of The Undertaker so early in his career. However, many were disappointed with the decision to put 'Taker over, since the company should be using the veteran wrestlers to put over the younger stars in order to build for the future. Even some of the veterans in the locker room see 'Taker's actions as being very self-serving and not looking out for what is best for the company.

The Smackdown creative team are currently working very hard to find a way to work Nicole Fink, who wrestles as Nikita in OVW, into storylines. There were several instances in the past where Fink was planned to debut on TV that were later cancelled, but it looks as though she'll be debuting very shortly.

If you read the Smackdown spoilers, you may have noticed that Chris Kanyon worked a dark match prior to the taping as Mortis, a character he used during his days with WCW. It appears that creative are trying to do something different with Kanyon, as the creative team have failed to come up with a decent storyline for him.

Lita is expected to be brought back as a member of the RAW roster any week now. She will most likely be aligned with Trish Stratus to feud with Gail Kim and Molly Holly.

Despite what Jerry Lawler said on RAW, Teddy Long is not really on a cruise. He has actually been out of action ever since doctors found hepatitis in his blood. He is, however, expected to return on next week's RAW.

The Brock Lesnar vs. Vince McMahon cage match scored a very disappointing 3.4 quarter-hour rating. Although the show was preempted in the New York market, the rating is still considered a HUGE disappointment considering the company was actually considering this match as the Smackdown brand's main event for Summer Slam.

You know, I have nothing against Lita coming back, but I just wish the WWE would give up on the division. Jazz is out and Gail Kim was a failure. When Trish is your top draw to chase the title...hang it up. Seriously.

I don't like Teddy Long. He's not entertaining or funny to me. Racist angles are not what I want to see.

Edge talks about whom he would have as his valet? Hah! He basically name dropped every woman. Stacy, Gail Kim, Trish & Lita were all brought up.

The creative team have failed to attempt anything with Kanyon, thus they ran out of ideas? Uhh...

I'd rather see Kanyon doing the Mortis redux than being fired/wasting away.

I don't necessarily think that they should give up on the Women's division. There is only so much you can do with it, and it seems to be fine as it is. I'm sure they've never considered it to be anything more than a ratings segment pop, and definitely not a real draw/way to sell a pay per view.

I'd rather watch Kanyon in NWA:TNA with Raven & Stevie Richards.

It's not like the WWE will ever use Richards or Kanyon...let alone let them do what they want in the ring.

Let Kanyon & Richards go to NWA and let Victoria go with someone who could use her...like Val Venis or something.

Is anything good to you??? The women's division has produced some great matches over the past few months. if they should drop that then they should also drop the Cruiserweight division on SD.

Lets go Mortis!!!!!!!

And bps is vindicated.

I'd mark for Vince doing the evil Irishman gimmick. He could team up with Sean O'Haire and feud with the FBI.

Obviously you haven't been around very long. I'm one of the most positive people here!

The women's division has produced some great matches over the past few months.

If by "good" you mean "average at best" then I agree with you. I agree that the Women's division is the highlight of RAW a lot. That's not because the women are so good though, it's because RAW has been so bad. I like Molly Holly as the champion, but I realize the only reason she got the title was because Gail Kim was so pitiful the WWE had to get the title away from her. Jazz, whom is the best in the division, is out of the picture. Victoria, whom I consider third best in the division (behind Molly & Jazz) was nowhere to be seen on RAW. She'll probably be on Heat again doing nothing. When the top three workers in said division are all heel, you have to either have a really good face (which Trish isn't and a returning Lita won't be either) or you have to turn one of the heels face. At least that would make sense to me. I know that Trish & Lita will get pops, but they can't wrestle. Sure, you can make an arguement that they're "improving" but when you've been improving for months just to get to average, you don't deserve tv time over other people.

If they should drop that then they should also drop the Cruiserweight division on SD

No, not really. The difference is that if the Cruiserweights on Smackdown got as much TV time as the women, they would be entertaining. By entertaining, I mean putting on above average matches. Of course, what really happens is most of the cruiserweights have to fend off hosses on Velocity while people like A-Train & Stephanie McMahon main event Smackdown.

Discussion don't spark unless someone plays devil's advocate. If everyone just agrees on something, it becomes the general consensus and then the topic moves down the page. It's when someone has a different look on things that people start having light shed in dark corners and start thinking more in-depth about things.

In fact, I just defended the Women's division over at my forums not to long ago, because I truly believe that they are often the best part of RAW. However, like I said before, that's usually because RAW is so bad. If RAW was good, the women's division would be a helluva midcard program to watch.

Here is what I said:

Gail Kim lost the title. That's good. Too bad she shouldn't have won the damn thing to begin with. She should've debuted as a face, which she did, and then she should've had to work her way up the ladder. Hopefully gaining some attention from the crowd on the way. Instead, she debuts in a Women's battle royal on RAW, which no one cared about, as a debut entrant, whom no one knew, and she won the damn thing, despite the current champion never being eliminated. There was just so much wrong with that situation. So, Gail Kim debuts and wins the title. Ok, so what happens next week? Does she show that she deserves to be the champion? Nope, she gets thrown into a meaningless mixed tag match. Ok, so then she takes out someone in a singles match the week after. Was she impressive? Nope. She appeared to be moving in slow motion and it was painfully obvious when she was setting up spots. Not good...especially since she was supposed to be the champion. So, in her third week with the title, she loses the title to Molly Holly, whom does deserve it, after a painful match where Gail Kim botched at least one signature spot. Is it safe to say that Gail Kim is a failure yet? Not really. Why? Well, because she was just too damn green and the WWE dropped the ball moreso than she.

The WWE women's division has all the tools that it needs to be successful. Trish, despite not being the best worker, has vastly improved and it appears as if she busts her ass everytime that she gets into the ring. On top of all that, she is young and attractive. Ok, so it makes sense for the WWE to use her. She makes an above average champion. The same can be said about Molly Holly, except that I feel Molly is better in the ring than Trish. Jazz is obviously the best worker out of all the women and Victoria is great as well. Ok, so that's four stars to use in the division. The problem is that of the four women listed, only Trish is a face. Let's be honest here, this is the WWE. To be a face in the women's division, you have to be attractive. I don't think that Jazz would fill the most holes in that situation if you know what I mean. Victoria or Molly could turn face however. Victoria hasn't got to work as a face yet, and that could be interesting. She has a "pop" song for her entrance, and she is attractive. It seems like the fans could easily get behind her. The problem is that she is so good in her role, you don't want to mess up a good thing. Besides, if she was to become a face, what would happen to Stevie? Would he be cheered as a face by default? Molly has been face before, and she did it decently. I'll never understand why the WWE makes the face women do run-ins during matches...and get cheered for it. Molly & Lita have both fell victim to this in the past. Speaking of Lita, where is she? She hasn't got to work as a heel in the WWE...and that could be interesting. Especially if Matt Hardy was with her. Matt is doing his own thing on Smackdown though, and Lita would be lost in the shuffle over there, just like Matt would be buried on RAW.

I think the ideal situation to go with would be for a heel to beat Molly. Perhaps a face defeat Molly for the title but pull a double turn in the match. Maybe turn Trish heel on Molly? That could be interesting. The face should chase the title. It's not interesting to watch Trish chase...she just makes a decent champion. The same can be said for Lita. She's not the best at the chase (or in the ring) but once she has the title, it doesn't seem that bad. I think that Jazz makes the best champion, obviously because she is the most talented worker. So, if Jazz was to have the belt, whom would chase her for the title? Trish? Molly? Victoria? Lita? A renewed Gail Kim? I think that a Victoria Vs. Jazz match could be very interesting. Victoria would be the face in the match obviously, and I think that she deserves another run. Not to take anything away from Molly though. She deserves this run that she just started. Let's hope that she gets a couple of clean PPV victories out of it. Let us not forget that Ivory is capable of helping put some people over if need be. She can pull out decent matches from any of the ladies.

Jazz, Victoria, Molly Holly, Ivory, Gail Kim, Trish Stratus, & Lita. That's three heels and three faces with Ivory playing tweener. That's better than both the World Title scene and the Intercontinental Title scene. You can compose a couple of different viewpoints on that fact. Some good, some bad. Despite that, you can't deny that the WWE has the tools to make the women's division both credible and entertaining. If they stop with the "Gail Goofs" they could be heading into the right direction with one aspect of RAW. Hell, I've seen Jacqueline ref matches before and we've all seen Terri as a backstage interviewer. The WWE could have an all female segment or two and appeal to a different demographic.

Why feud? They can be part of a large international group of fascists.
