That's true, but he is currently employed by the WWE and is acknowledging that the politics do exist.

Of course it would become a popular topic. Especially with all conspiracy theories that arise around RVD.

If Van Dam wanted to get fired, I think he would do something worse than THAT interview.

He could always take a page from Jeff's book....

Well, JR even acknowledged in the Ross Report that office politics exist in the company. The sole existence of company politics isn't what's bad, but rather when talented wrestlers and the company's bottom line is adversely affected by said politics. Just like anything else I guess.

The politics were just as bad when the company was hot, but little things like Austin not working with Jeff Jarrett or HHH going over Owen Hart because of Shawn getting in Vince's ear weren't really hurting business. Anyone who's ever been in the work force knows that there are factors to any promotion that don't involve actual job performance. How well you get along with your co-workers, who you associate with and who your friends associate with can make or break you. I hate it, but it is a fact of working life.

So that alone isn't a bad thing. What's bad is when "the right thing" is blatantly sacrificed to feed an ego or for any reason besides doing what's best for the company. Little things, like WWE issuing a policy against wrestlers dating management or office personnel, or strongly discouraging wrestlers and bookers from socializing away from work, would go along way.

Probably throw in a token title run to sweeten the pot.

Take out title run and he'll be happy "tokin the sweetened pot"

RVD is going to have another interview coming up with no DQ.

Here's whay *I* don't get.

Since for some reason RVD has become the biggest basher of the WWE of the people still working there (because...you know...no one else says ANYTHING)...

Why do they keep letting him do interviews?

Do they want him to go to far so they can have a reason to job him out?

Every promotion needs an SD Jones to put the other talent over.
