Guest Stennick Report post Posted August 15, 2003 Let me start out by seeing if anyone else realizes this or not. I was watching Smackdown last night, and McMahon was in the ring with "the real" Brock Lesner. Well my point being is that it seems like his Gowen feud was a COMPLETE waste of time? What was the point? It didn't help the kid if the owner of the company just HAD to beat him, I mean he's beaten 250 pd men, he had to beat this punk kid who thought he was something special. My point is the Gowen Feud was a replacement for the Mr. America/Hogan feud. So after the Gowen feud I figured he's go off the air for some time or something like that. But no he jumped right in the middle of the main event feud. Someone should tell Vince he has another show, yet I"ve never seen him work a program on RAW not once. Whats his deal with Smackdown, I know he was the orignal owner of it back when Flair had RAW, but whats his deal with it now? Why does he have to stay on that show, I thought the point of having GM's was so that McMahon could keep off air, I mean if the OWNER is there, then the GM should have absolutely no control over anything, thus deeming her position pointless. Also if he doesn't want her to mess things up for him, why doesn't he just fire her and run SD himself? Sorry these things bother me. My point in all of this is, do you think that Vince ACTUALLY has a HAND in RAW, I mean it seems like RAW and Smackdown are SO different booking, etc. It almost seems like Vince doesn't concentrate on RAW, almost like its two McMahons to a show. Shane and Linda for RAW, Steph and Vince for SD. Am I reading too much into this? Now onto my original post How many other people realized as soon as Stone Cold came out to book that match that not only will Goldber MOST LIKELY win, but he WILL NOT pin HHH for it? I mean I'm almost for sure that's what they got planned. Its ironic because the whole night I was arguing with my friend Tom who is a huge HHH mark because Tom works out and believes that he can get as big as HHH never mind the fact that he's 5'7. I mean really has anyone ever heard of a CUT 5'7, 265 pd man? Whats even more sad is he believes HHH doesn't use steroids, and he has NO say in ANYTHING on RAW, and ALL contenders for his title have been "unworthy" at any rate enough about him. Back to my point. My point being is I was trying to figure out how they were going to put the title on Goldberg, I mean I can't imagine him beating Goldberg, who in the hell would be left for him to face? He's handled RVD what twice? Kane Twice? HBK once or twice? Nash Twice? Steiner Twice? Bubba Ray once, Spike once, I think Hurricane once! Didn't he even beat Flair a few months ago? When does someone stand up to HHH and finally take some control away from him? I don't understand why no one else can see that you can just have your heel champion squash everyone For just about ONE YEAR he's held that title with the exception of what THREE weeks? so what 344 days this year HHH has been champion, and the other 21 days it was HIS BEST FRIEND! Some one anyone, hire a contract out on HHH's leg again! NOW!
Internet Warfare 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2003 I think its great that HHH has held the title this long because now when he loses at SS it'll mean something spactacular unlike on SM when the belt would change hands every month.
Guest Stennick Report post Posted August 15, 2003 I see your point to that, but HE'S not losing it, he's gonna go out to Shawn or Kev, then Jericho, Orton will job to Goldberg for the Title that'd be my bet. So therfore, in the Mark's eyes, he escapes getting pinned, then he comes back healthy next month, has Orton and Flair interfere, he beats Goldberg and becomes a three time RAW champion. Somethings just not right!

razazteca 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2003 Is there any chance that HHH will go to Smackdown in search of new challengers to squash? I would like to have a few weeks of HHH free Raw.

HHH going to SD might happen, especially if they do the big Face Turn. If he returns as a face on Raw, he will bomb horribly as the fans will reject him and cheer his opponents. If he goes to SD, he can get his bitch to put in cheers for him in post-editting.

The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2003 It won't mean anything when he loses it at SS because none of the five challengers has been built up at all.
Guest The Old Me Report post Posted August 16, 2003 First off, keep HHH off Smackdown! Second, your friend Tom is a dumb ass.
iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2003 Your friend Tom is right. HHH doesn't use steroids, and he would have dropped the title to Steiner, or Booker, or Nash, if they all hadn't completely sucked the life out of their feuds with their general suckiness. As for Vince, I thought he was more entertaining on Smackdown last night than he's been in months. He got Brock over as a heel, was HILARIOUS narrating the opening segment, and was even funnier in the skit with Spanky. The reason Vince doesn't go on Raw much (he was there three weeks ago, ) is that they already have two entertaining authority figures on Raw, and they only have one unentertaining authority figure on Smackdown. Oh, and HHH is going to lose the title at Summerslam, job clean to Goldberg at Unforgiven, and he won't win another major title from either brand until at least Wrestlemania. The only difference between Austin's title reign and HHH's is that Austin had a lot of good worthy competitors and HHH hasn't had any.
