Guest JacK Report post Posted August 16, 2003 Ever since he got cut from TNA just to spite me? Not that I'd have any chance of seeing it (not much on TV in Australia!) but still, it'd be cool to know what. And also, can anyone describe his finisher, the 3.0? Cause it can't figure out what it's sposed to be.
Boner Kawanger 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2003 The 3.0...you know how to do a headlock takeover, right? Sanders basically does that, except instead of his opponent's face down on his side, they're facing up and Sanders rolls them over and drops them. It ends up like a neckbreaker, hard to explain. At least, that's how I remember it. He did it maybe twice in WCW.
The Kid 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2003 Why the hell does Sanders always get cut? He should be a manager at least dammit!

Guest JacK Report post Posted August 17, 2003 Sanders is pretty cool, with the mikework and stuff, he's just GOLD! Kenny Banyon from Seinfeld Gold! And mattdotcom, thanks for the description, that clears it up a heap! now I can both understand what the hell it is, and give him something resembling it as a finisher in Smackdown 4. Fökai 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2003 From yesterday's notes from the Observer.com - --USA Championship Wrestling last night in Gainesville, GA before 400 fans. Guest JacK Report post Posted August 18, 2003 Ah! But Sanders would cancel that out, maybe even make it Above Average! Well, maybe not, but thanks! Cool! At least he's not unemployed, but if only TNA would reconsider . . . stupid Tenay ignored my email asking why they fired sanders . . . he answered my email about what the hell the point of the 'Hard 10' tournament was. Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2003 He's the only guy I can say that TNA has really "dicked over". See how Raven, D Lo, even Crash Holly now got a shot when they came in? Erik Watts even was originally slated to feud with Jarrett! What did Mike do? He laid down for Jim Duggan. He could have been gold, Jerry, GOLD.
Guest JacK Report post Posted August 18, 2003 lol yeah, now that I think about it That's right!!! He's better than Erik Watts, c'mon, that Hard 10 interview he cut with Goldy was, well, GOLD! All I got to see him do was wrestle Truth and Lynn with Flair as a tag team partner, beat Brian Lee in the hard 10, and lose to New Jack in said Hard 10 waste-of-time. And THAT was enough to get him over with me, what with the constant 'Hey!' and all.
Zack Malibu 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2003 The very first week he did the "Hey" thing (which was in one of his early matches, may have even been that tag you mentioned), was awesome. He had the crowd eating out of his hand. Then when it looked like he was going to go face by having tension with Disco and Siaki, I expected to see a babyface Sanders (which he did previously during his days in the WWE developmentals to good reviews). Then he became more of a lackey, and now invisible. I don't care. I still mark for Mike.

Guest JacK Report post Posted August 18, 2003 Well, I sent another email to TNA (to a different email) asking if they'd rehire him . . . call me stupid or an optimist, but I hope they *might* come round . . . But then again, with the luck I've had emailing them, it'll come to nothing, for when I sent an email, asking about merchandising shipping prices to Australia, to the email SPECIFICALLY set up for such requests, and got NO response. Not the best way to sell stuff I would've thought.
Guest thetrendsetter Report post Posted August 18, 2003 He stole the "Hey" thing from a Canadian Wrestler by the name of "Evil" Eddie Watts, who has been doing it for the past 5-6 years.
Guest TheGame2705 Report post Posted August 18, 2003 Poster named Rico re-born in a guy named Jack. Mike Sanders doesn't have a job because he's a dickface. If you've read his interviews he comes off as pompous and says he doesn't even care about wrestling and if he's not wrestling he'd just go about doing something else and not worry about it. His mic skills reputation comes from the fact that he worked opposite Ernest Miller and Ric fuckin' Flair.
Guest JacK Report post Posted August 20, 2003 Na-uh; your Rico-reborn *stoops to your level* And also, I find him entertaining on the mike, so I don't really care what others think of him in that respect; and also I haven't read his emails, but I don't really care what he thinks of wrestling, because I mark out for his character, not for his personality. He stole that from 'Evil' Eddie Watts? Because if he did, I gotta find out some more about the Eddie Watts guy, because I mark out like a lil kid for the ~Hey!~ Sanders was giving the crowd. Though I think it's because he did it every time anything happened at all, I mean he hits a move, HEY; tag team-mate Flair hits a move, HEY; moves get hit on Flair; still with the HEY's! I love it! I've said it before, but I'll say it again . . . It's Gold!
Guest The Masked Avenger Report post Posted August 21, 2003 Sanders will, if the booker informs me correctly, appear on a show for the finnish promotion Valhalla Pro Wrestling the 24th this month. So will I
Guest JacK Report post Posted August 22, 2003 What?!?!?! Lucky you. . . cool. Maybe he'll take an extended detour, wrestle in Australia and tell me beforehand . . . I can only hope.
