The new Man Show

Holy crap, I just got done watching an episode with the new guys...and it sucked hard ass! I knew they couldn't live up to Adam and Jimmy, but that was just bad comedy.

 

Doug seems like he should be funny, but just doesn't seem to fit on the show for me. And Joe Rogan looks way out of place doing comedy. I hate him on Fear Factor, like him on UFC (he knows his shit), but he's just not very good.

 

I know it's too early to judge. But Joe Rogan does not belong on this show. I just don't see it getting much better.

 

I miss the old days already.

The original run will last 5 episodes and will disappear. But this is Comedy Central so instead of being cancelled it will go on the "fill up time" waiting list.

 

Different hosts and a show that has ran it's course...nothing good could've came of it.

The show DEFIENTLY ran its course. They were just looking for stuff to talk about at the end of its wrong, and it sucked.

The Man Show was Adam & Jimmy. I don't want any new hosts. They should really just let it die.

The Man Show is Jimmy and Adam, but these guys have been pretty funny. Everything but the AssCrack Show was funny. The investment company ruled!

I think the first show worked because Adam and Jimmy just didn't look like the guys who would host that show. However, they did a good job of it.

 

I saw the end of the new show. from the 30 seconds i saw, it just doesn't look the same. The set looks awful, they have bottled beer, and the hosts look like they just don't get the concept. It will last 5 episodes.

Plus Adam and Jimmy seemed like they were legit friends. That really went a long way for the show.

 

And not only was the asscrack skit bad...but it was long too.

All of the bits were looong...they had a bad habit of beating a dead horse in their bits.

Adam and Jimmy are friends away from the show.

 

I was listening to Loveline on my break and Adam was on a rant about this very topic. He and Jimmy got cracked on by a writer from Entertainment magazine. He basically said that CC was offering him $50,000 an episode, but he was tired of doing it and didn;t want to anymore. Then he got pissed because the writer used the review of the new Man Show to take potshots at him and Kimmel, and off he went.

Wanted to bump this, cause I saw another episode and it was just as bad.

 

Joe Rogan cannot do comedy. He's just bad at it.

 

The skits are too skittish. For instance, when Adam and Jimmy did the sperm bank skit it seemed like it was half them goofing off and half a skit. But when the new guys did the urine test skit you could tell it's 100% a skit. Rehearsed and unfunny.

 

And when they flash the names of the writers at the end you see a few names, but not Joe or Doug...Adam and Jimmy (along with one other guy) wrote their shows.

 

I don't see this show coming back next year...but it's comedy central, nothing there gets great ratings, so it could slide.

I think you people are being way too hard on the show. It isn't as funny as it used to be, but the new show has it's spots.

 

The Porno investment company was funny. The Wheel of Destiny is always funny too. I do agree the doctor's ofice skit wasn't that great, but I did laugh.
