There is no reason for the Tigers to fire Trammell. His experienced major league players who are worth half a damn are Bobby Higginson and Dmitri Young. After that, the team is young and unproven, particularly the pitching staff. They just don't have the talent to compete in what has become a very tough division. Firing Trammell would be idiotic.
