Brush with Greatness Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 I used to be a big fan of dvd.ign.com but ever since that one editor left and the new one took over it's been shit. It's a pity because it was one of my favourite sites before. It had the exact taste in movies as me (for the most part) and everything. Now all they review is indy shit and barely have any news updates. So what does everyone else use?
eiker_ir Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 i go to DVDTalk.com everyday. The forum there is ALMOST as good as TSM also for DVD reviews, i use DVDBasen.com, it's a big ass database with hundreds of sites with reviews, just type in the movie you're looking for and it'll give you the links
Guest Dmann2000 Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 I usually check out dvdfile.com first
Kaertos Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 the best I have seen for news is thedigitalbits.com. For reviews, it used to be dvd.ign.com, but I agree with the post above. Now, I like dvdfile.com.
Karnage Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 IGN's DVD Review of City Hunter was one of the worst reviews I ever read. The guy complains about Jackie not dubbing his own English track when he usually doesn't even dub his chinese tracks also! And why would you be listening to a dub on a first place when the original language track is there?!
