Guest Jay Z. Hollywood Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 I'll be the first to admit that outside of the occassional MPro or Z-1 match, I'm not much into puro. I'm an indy geek through and through. But lately I've been hearing a ton of good things about Wrestling Marvelous Future from friends of mine into this stuff- where can I find shows, and what are their best ones? PS Toryumon is also something that sounds really good. Which show of theirs would be a good "introduction"?
Guest Joe_G Posted August 23, 2003 Report Posted August 23, 2003 Highspots has a few WMF here. Looks like it a lot of ex-FMW guys and a lot of wrestlers from other feds. I haven't honestly heard a lot about it, good or bad. And there's a Toryumon thread floating around on the main puro page.
Guest trickstyle_360 Posted August 23, 2003 Report Posted August 23, 2003 Toryumon > WMF. WMF is reportedly going under soon, cause they don't really have the money to run much. Toryumon's last 2 PPVs, El Numero and 5th Anniversario were real good shows, it's the worth the money for em.
Guest Black Tiger Posted August 23, 2003 Report Posted August 23, 2003 With the amount of fans that Hayabusa had, even for an indy level worker. WMF will be able to survive for a while. If they can keep running shows, fans will still pay to see them, just because it's Hayabusa. On the first WMF show, Hayabusa actually stood up on his own two feet on his own. I seriously want to get that tape for that moment alone.
shlidgn90 Posted August 28, 2003 Report Posted August 28, 2003 the first wmf show is real good, it also features toryumon wrestlers in dragon kid and darkness dragon.
JustJoe2k5 Posted August 28, 2003 Report Posted August 28, 2003 I don't really follow Japanese wrestling, but I do know about Hayabusa and I was wondering if there has been any update on his condition.
Guest Black Tiger Posted August 28, 2003 Report Posted August 28, 2003 Last update on Hayabusa's condition was the first WMF show, when he wheeled himself out to the ring and with the aid of crutches he was able to push himself into a standing position.
Guest Trivia247 Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 speaking of which how is Hayabusa doing? I haven't gotten a latest condition from his Biggest fan's webpage? Is he up and around
