Guest Mindless_Aggression Report post Posted August 27, 2003 I've been getting corrupt files in mass the last few days on Kazaa and I'm done with it, not many people on anymore either. So anyone got a new sources filled file sharing program that I don't know about? It'd be much appreciated.
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2003 earthstation5 is nice for movies and stuff. Although it sometimes is still hard to get a hold of more "western" content right now. Plus if you share, you will be able to use the direct verified download page for first run movies and music etc. Soulseek is nice for music
Guest I'm That Damn Zzzzz Report post Posted August 27, 2003 Emule (Connects to the Edonkey network) Shareaza (Connects to Gnutella, Gnutella2, Edonkey and BitTorrent networks) WinMX (Connects to WinMX network and OpenNap servers) They're all free and have no ads or extra crap programs, pick any or all of them, I usually have two running at once. And here's a reason why Kazaa has so many corrupt files.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2003 That Earthstation 5 program is the biggest piece of crap software I've ever downloaded. Aside from the fact that I like all of the security features, half the stuff is labeled wrong and one video file I downloaded previewed to be some gay film from India (And I was not downloading porn for a change..).. LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2003 The new version of Kazaa Lite blocks the IP addresses that carry the corrupt files and I haven't found a corrupt file yet since using it.
