Guest ftwdevils2469 Report post Posted August 27, 2003 Having two UPNs I thought i'd get to watch Smackdown every once in a while, but is being pre-empted almost every week.
NYU 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2003 Well, this is actually good for Vince. He now has a logical scapegoat for the low Smackdown rating, by saying it's because of the markets. Otherwise, he would have to face facts and see that the Video Music Awards are a much bigger draw than Smackdown. A possible, face-saving excuse is better than the actual reason in Vince's mind. AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2003 Fuck, now I'm gonna have to watch the VMA's. Fuck. I can't think of a single reason anyone would want to watch that. Too bad, Vince maybe was counting on probably bringing Mae Young onto Smackdown to please all those elderly West Palm Beach SD viewers.
