Nevermortal Posted August 30, 2003 Report Posted August 30, 2003 I'm running XP and I found this old printer in my attic from my first PC (99ish), a HP Deskjet 810C. I want to install it but I don't have the original installation disc. If I hook it up, will XP recognize it and let me print without the disc?

Nevermortal Posted August 30, 2003 Author Report Posted August 30, 2003 Ok, I hooked everything up, it recognizes the printer, starts the printing process and everything, yet nothing comes out on the paper. Which means that I'm probably out of ink. Although that's understandable considering I haven't used this thing in about 2 & 1/2 years.
