razazteca 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2003 well the Rams are in the west. This guy I know says they might do alright this year. NFC West: Seahawks, 49ers, Rams, Cardinals Now this is a very weak division, probably weaker than the NFC East. The Rams forgot how to run and win, Cardinals are the Bungles south, 49ers and Seahawks are average and lucky if they can make a wildcard spot. The Vikings are going to win the NFC North! Its all about the Randy Ratio and RB by committee.
Guest Boo_Bradley Report post Posted September 8, 2003 Had Brett not thrown that pick right before the half on 1st and goal (And I called Brett forcing it to someone due to the Vikings early lead) Brett threw a horrid pass (or the timing or direction was off) boom Minnesota gets 3 off it... Had Brett made the TD Pack wins 31-30 in the final 2 mins... Don't annoint the Vikings anything yet... They have the same record as the Texans and beat a similarly ranked opponent (Both Miami and Packers have Super Bowl asperations) The Pack has a 4 game easy streak to right the course before hitting St louis, Minnesota at the dome, Kanas City, oakland, Denver etc Packers are still a solid 10-6 pick I figure, but injuries will tell the tale (Remember the UNBEATABLE 8-0 Rams of 2 seasons ago, who limped into the Playoffs after a dismal 2nd half of the season???) Oh well I'm in GB, its 2:30 and ranting helps ease my pain...
Guest T_Hunt Report post Posted September 8, 2003 I can't think of too many teams who couldn't have beaten the Pack today. Because it could not have been because the vikings had good defesne right? It was just the Packers playing bad right?
Guest Boo_Bradley Report post Posted September 8, 2003 Well Minnesota didn't cause David Martin to fall down when a pass flew his way... and Minnesota didn't injure Fergie and Driver... and Minnesota didn't have the Packers ignore the run til there 3rd possession... kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2003 But the big question is did Hovan get his man? I'm assuming he didn't since all the highlight shows would have made a huge deal of it...

It was just the Packers playing bad right? Yes, it was the Packers playing badly. The Vikings defense didn't look so great in that 4th quarter. Favre's interceptions were more his own mis-throwing than Viking defensive derring-do. Ahman Green's fumble was half and half. Five turnovers in one game makes it almost impossible to win. Guest T_Hunt Report post Posted September 9, 2003 Ok Favre had 4 picks. One was a tip caused by a tiped ball, tipped because of good coverage. The only pick that was favres fault was the Donald Driver pick in the end zone. And the green fumble was ALL Biekert. He made a great hit, but of course to Packer fans ,no one but the packers beat the packers. So all this is a lost cause. Its also being reported Gilbert Brown and 2 othe unidentified players 1st arrived at lambeau field at 10:30 on Sunday... They do pre game warm ups at 10 50.... hmmmm So just because they arent at the stadium at 4 am they cant be affective? But they got there 20 mins before warm ups so what are you getting at? and Minnesota didn't have the Packers ignore the run til there 3rd possession... Well they were a good run stoping team last year so in a way ,yea they did stop them.

Guest Urine Sane Report post Posted September 9, 2003 Ok look here ignorant people. Hovan has been talking smack for months about wanting to get Favre, so do you think there's a chance in hell that the Packers Offensive line will let him through? The one time Hovan would have fucking KILLED Brette Favre he was held, and got the holding call. Chris Claiborne whipped Favre around like the little bitch he is. Guest Boo_Bradley Report post Posted September 10, 2003 Brett Favre: Super Bowl Rings 1, NFC Championship Rings 2, Division Titles 5 (At least) Chris Claiborne: Zero, Zip, Nadda Career Highlight: Ending Mark Chumura's (sp?) career Career Playoff appearences: Zero Yup Favre's the bitch

Hovan has been talking smack for months about wanting to get Favre, so do you think there's a chance in hell that the Packers Offensive line will let him through? Um, isn't this generally the policy you want to have for ANYONE trying to get to the quarterback? This isn't a grudge match at a PPV, it's football. They're not treating anyone special because he talked a lot of smack.
