I think they only talk in the song at the beginning with the "Viva La Raza" and "If you're not cheating, you're not trying" lines. The singing part doesn't really sound like them.

I thought maybe 'Lie, cheat, steal' but then I couldn't find anything under that name anywhere, so I assumed it had a different name; but all I really want is a copy of it! It's so damn cool!

I guess WWE was attempting to completely kill Eddie's career by making his theme even more stereotypical than the "Latino Heat" theme was, but it turns out that fortunately, Eddie overcame the stereotypical theme and accent and is now accepted by the fans, heel or face.

Well...originally I think it was because they wanted to have Eddy and Chavo have a theme for their team...since Eddy was still using Latino Heat while Chavo was using the WCW Guerrero theme.

 

After Chavo's injury though, I don't know.

See, they got it right the first time when they made the "Cheat 2 Win" shirt (even though I don't see why it couldn't be 'To' instead of '2', but just a minor detail). With 'It's a family tradition' on the back, it was a good shirt.

And they have COMPLETLEY forgotten about it. There is so much more you can do with "Cheat to Win" - it flows more smoothly and is a philosophy rather than a criminal record.

 

It's a shame the WWE had to be so stupid and "turn Eddie heel" (wink) just when the crowd started to chant "Cheat! Cheat! Cheat!"

The opening (the BUM-BUM sound) sounds alot like a Tito Puente song. I know this because I heard it on one of those music channel DirecTV offers. I don't think the entire song is the same but some of it was.
