Guest Ecto Cooler Report post Posted August 31, 2003 Bills just traded Olandis Gary to Detroit for an "undisclosed draft pick". FUCK. Him and Henry were going to be unstoppable this year. I mean I can see how management likes to make things secure so that the team has a bright future, but FUCK. This was our year.

Guest El Satanico Report post Posted August 31, 2003 (edited) Olandis Gary was the difference between Buffalo winning the super bowl and not winning? Why is this the first time I've heard such things? Besides, I hope you're joking. If Olandis Gary was the final piece of the super bowl puzzle, do you honestly believe that Buffalo would trade him for what will likely be a 5th or 6th round draft pick. LaParkaMarka 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2003 Well, at least Detroit has some kind of feasible running back to replace James Stewart. Guess Gary's fantasy stock goes slightly up.

Guest Redhawk Report post Posted September 1, 2003 Speaking of Detroit running backs, why does everyone waste their time talking about Barry Sanders possibly coming back? Even if he did come back, how good would he be if he hasn't played in 4 years or so? You can't come back after that much time off and be the same player. The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2003 Gary had lost his backup job to two people by the end of preseason. Sammy Morris is penciled in as the back up...and in the last game Joe Burns was running ahead of Gary. I'm sure it's like a 7th round pick...since he was a FA and was going to be cut anyway. The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2003 Just read on ESPN2 bottomline that Stewart is done for the year with his shoulder. 1. Good news for Fantasy Football people who drafted Olandis Gary. 2. FEAR COY WIRE!!! HE WILL SEPERATE YOU FROM YOUR SHOULDER!!!
Gert T 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2003 While I think Gary is a decent back, he is not as good as Denver's O Line made him look.

I actually just picked up Gary off my (2nd) league's FA pool, but right now he's my #3 or 4 RB so I'll sit on him for now and see if I can use him for trade bait...
