Bored's Bowl Projections OR Everyone Elses Version 3.0

You know the drill. I jumble together espn.com's four seperate bowl projections, si.com, collegefootballnews.com, and collegebcs.com's projections just to give you an idea of who may or may not be going to each bowl game. No Sportsline this week as they don't have them up yet so fuck 'em. Again since any number of match-ups could end up happening in the Orange and Fiesta Bowl so I just list everyone being picked there.

Your early lines!

KSU by 15 1/2 over Missouri

Tech v. Oklahoma should be fun..

OU 66, Tech 31. Symons breaks some more NCAA records

but he is not going to throw 8 touchdown passes and break Klingler's record

God I hope I can have Miami(OH) Vs MSU at the Motor City Bowl...I could go see that one.

I doubt Virgina and GT will want to play in cold ass Boise...Toledo makes geographical sense.

The ACC is tied to the Humanitarian Bowl so they'd have to take it if that is all that is left. Although of course would have the option of turning down the invite and not going to a bowl game all together but I think the ACC might frown on one of their schools rejecting a bowl invite.

Well, I think the question comes down to what the Continental Tire Bowl wants to do. GT and UVA are going to be pretty much even come end of the season, especially if we (Virginia) win the game this weekend. UVA sold out all their Tire Bowl tickets last year and played a great game to beat West Virginia, so I have a feeling they'd love to have them back for a second year in a row if they could get them. There's the off chance that either team will win out, in which case they could even jump past Clemson in bowl committee esteem, and get into the Tangerine. Not likely, though.

Considering the low expectations at the beginning of this season for Georgia Tech and the fact that last year was UVA's first bowl game in a few, I don't think anyone's going to turn down even the Humanitarian Bowl. It's a lousy locale and a junk game, but it IS for some bizarre reason on January 3, and it will be the only bowl game on between the national championship and the rest of the BCS. Two young programs getting the undisputed television spotlight one day before the Sugar Bowl = a pretty damn good consolation for going to Boise.

And yes, I just wrote two full paragraphs on the current 5th and 6th place teams in the conference. Told you I was the ACC guy.

Oklahoma against 3 teams, that's really unfair.

Minnesota is going to the Music City Bowl.

TCU=Spike Dudley

Michigan would go after Ohhhio St. That would bring out Michigan St. who would help Ohio St. that would lead a domino affect of all the Big 10 teams out fighting with each other.

Glen Mason that SOB is demanding Tapeh, and Reed attack the Illini kicker. Wait a minute it's the Hawkeyes. Bob Sanders, Fred Russell, and that hoss Robert Gallery. The Gophers run like scolded dogs.

sorry...a little overboard

... I don't think both games are at the same time. The OU-TTU game is on before OSU-Mich.

I want to see Texas Tech beat Oklahoma and start the annual OMG BCS CONTROVERSIEZ~. What we've had so far isn't close to the usual debate we've had around this time of year.

I don't think Tech has a snowball's chance in hell.

Oh and..........why the fuck is the Michigan/OSU game on so early!? I heard it was coming on at 11 am.

Speaking of which...here is YOUR college football national television schedule for this week. ABC regional games are marked with an asterisk, rankings are the BCS rankings, and all times are Pacific.

That is funny. I'd like to hear what Missouri has done in that same time period... wait, I already know this one. Missouri football has only been known for two things in the last 10 years:

1. Losing to Nebraska on that kickup-ball in '97, and

2. Having their victory over Nebraska this year overshadowed by one of their students getting cold-cocked by an NU player.

Now, I hate Nebraska as much as any purple blooded KSU fan, but Missouri needs to learn their role in this, namely that, just like Kansas, they're mostly a basketball school.

In short, STFU.

well, it's been 14 years since Missouri's won a game in Manhattan, Kansas.

and Missouri has lost every road game in Big 12 conference play this year.

As well.. MU doesn't have much defense against the pass, and KSU's defense is much better than Missouri's.

Fun fact:

Total Defense-

KSU: #5 (271 yards per game)

Mizzou: #62 (379 yards per game)

Everyone has a chance against everyone. Isn't the game at Texas Tech?

Yes -- right in my city. But, Tech does not have a FUCKING chance. It's that simple.
