Sandman9000 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2003 From czwwrestling.com CZW received confirmation today that AJPW Junior Heavyweight Champion, Kendo Kashin, will be joining the field of 12 to compete to become the next Undisputed Iron-Man Champion He's replacing B-Boy, who is dealing with personal family matters. That makes Kashin, Mafia, Ruckus, and Adam Flash announced for the tourny with 8 more spots open. I barely follow puro at all, so I know nothing about Kashin. PFL says that he sucks, and head CZW fan Jeff Strauch also says he sucks, but is marking out too much to care. Of course, odds are that a shitty Kashin will be better then a Z-Barr on his best day, so who knows.
Nevermortal 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2003 Wow. He's decent from the matches I've seen, but then again, all I've seen him against was Benoit.
Internet Warfare 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2003 He's pretty good I've only seen his match against Shibita.
Guest Joe_G Report post Posted September 3, 2003 Ka Shin's ok. He was a New Japan regular for quite a while, then jumped to All Japan a few years back. He's been the All Japan junior champion for seventeen months, thus making Triple H look like Tommy Rich in terms of title reigns. Expect to see a bunch of cross armbreakers. I still don't have the slightest why he's in this tournament.
Tawren 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2003 So I suppose I'm the only Ka Shin mark here, eh?
Guest Jay Z. Hollywood Report post Posted September 3, 2003 I second the "Wow." This is just insanely cool news, no matter how good Ka Shin may or may not be. As long as he's not Kenzo Suzuki, he's great by me.
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2003 Yeah, seriously. Couldn't be worse than Suzuki, right?
ulfistgut 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2003 Hopefully we'll see him vs. Jimmy Rave in a battle of the armbars And Derek Fraiser vs. Deranged has been added, which could be fun, plus makes sense given some recent storylines (you just have to get used to the arena show's bookings due to ROH commitments).
