Guest Doyo Posted September 3, 2003 Report Posted September 3, 2003 1wrestling.com "Low Ki suffered a broken jaw on the last night of the Zero-One tour, losing the Zero-One International Junior Heavyweight championship to World-1 Junior Heavyweight champion Wataru Sakata on 8/31 at the Gifu Industrial Hall. Ki was scheduled to face Marc Briscoe for Ring of Honor this Saturday 9/6 in Wakefield, MA but has obviously been pulled from the show. Ki's website lists that he will be out of the ring "Indefinitely." "
Silence Posted September 3, 2003 Report Posted September 3, 2003 Does anyone think karma came back to haunt Low Ki after he injured Danny Maff not too long ago? I know it was just an accident, but still, does anyone think that was the possibility nonetheless?
Guest Doyo Posted September 3, 2003 Report Posted September 3, 2003 Yeah maybe, but imagine how much people would be bashing Low Ki right now if it was his opponent who had broken their jaw instead.
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Posted September 3, 2003 Report Posted September 3, 2003 Well perhaps the virtues of wrestling 'stiff' (read: cool cause I am stiff) have backfired. That is always the risk. Or someone just let him know how much those kicks hurt.
Guest Joe_G Posted September 3, 2003 Report Posted September 3, 2003 I'm not remotely surprised. Sakata's an ex-RINGS guy and has some shoots under his belt. I've watched him in Zero One and the guy kicks like a mule. Seriously, he makes Low Ki looks like Brutus Beefcake in terms of stiffness. If this is the first guy he's injured I'd be stunned.
Guest Deviant Posted September 5, 2003 Report Posted September 5, 2003 Low Ki injured makes baby jesus want to cry...

Mecha Mummy Posted September 5, 2003 Report Posted September 5, 2003 Well, now TNA has an excuse for seriously underusing him...
