Dr. Tom Posted September 4, 2003 Report Posted September 4, 2003 Computer Programming. How many jobs nowadays center on your knowledge of calculus?
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted September 4, 2003 Report Posted September 4, 2003 Programming. More places you could branch off into from it.
CanadianChris Posted September 4, 2003 Report Posted September 4, 2003 If you're good with numbers - calc If you're good with computers - computer programming Trust me, after 3 university-level calc courses, being good with numbers isn't required. In fact, it's a hindrance. Go with calc if you're going after a degree in a quantitative program (i.e. math, physics, accounting). Anything else, go with computer programming.
Cran Da Maniac Posted September 5, 2003 Report Posted September 5, 2003 Even tho it's a bitch, I'd go with computer programming, as it deals not only with programming, but with logical reasoning too, which lots of employers are looking for these days.
