Guest Choken One Posted September 7, 2003 Report Posted September 7, 2003 Hogan won't fly with that though...It's the Ideal finish though... Vince will get Johnny Ace to create some sort of Leg Drop/Stunner hybrid for a double pin... The ideal thing would be to have Bruno Sammantino as the ref THREE GENERATIONS OF WRESTLING
KTID Posted September 7, 2003 Report Posted September 7, 2003 If you put Austin against another legend- it could get ugly I'd hardly call 'Berg a "legend"
Guest Choken One Posted September 7, 2003 Report Posted September 7, 2003 Legendary Name... Drew more in 1998 then Flair did in 1989...
David Blazenwing Posted September 7, 2003 Report Posted September 7, 2003 11) RVD - Let's face it -- RVD doesn't have a chance in hell... unless he buys HHH and Steph a wedding present that even impresses Vince. We'll see... Triple H: So, Rob... what in the hell is this? RVD: It's a bong. I'd give you the pot to go with it, but I smoked it all on the way over. By the way Steph, you and your three sisters are looking totally hot tonight.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted September 7, 2003 Report Posted September 7, 2003 A) Hogan will be back B) Hogan could protect Austin's neck betetr than Goldberg C) I'm probably alone but I want HOGAN to win clean at WM20 since it's MSG and all D) Austin/Goldberg doens't make sense since Vince own't job his boy to WCW's boy and Austin winning KILLS Goldberg
Guest Choken One Posted September 7, 2003 Report Posted September 7, 2003 Goldberg might also be a personal vindication for Austin... as would Hogan, Money wise and value wise Austin would take Hogan but he'll settle for the nice cushy bank goldberg will get for him...
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted September 7, 2003 Report Posted September 7, 2003 Austin/Hogan bigger than Austin/Goldberg, Austin/Hogan either guy could go over and it would go smooth cause they seem to beo n the same page and both are cool with Vince. Plus at WM a Hogan match > a Goldberg match. Period.
Lil' Bitch Posted September 7, 2003 Report Posted September 7, 2003 I just want to point out that Austin / Goldberg at WM which is in MSG would be the last match for both men. How interesting. I'd definitely want Austin / Hogan over Austin / Goldberg though.
Lil' Bitch Posted September 7, 2003 Report Posted September 7, 2003 Either does Hogan or flair but that doesn't stop them...It's a Sickness... I believe its called greed.
Kahran Ramsus Posted September 7, 2003 Report Posted September 7, 2003 Austin winning KILLS Goldberg Good.
KTID Posted September 7, 2003 Report Posted September 7, 2003 Austin winning KILLS Goldberg. Good. Cause we all know semi-mobile, aging cripples > current main eventers with ability to draw major money.
Kahran Ramsus Posted September 7, 2003 Report Posted September 7, 2003 Austin winning KILLS Goldberg. Good. Cause we all know semi-mobile, aging cripples > current main eventers with ability to draw major money. Hey, I could care less about Austin. But anything that kills Goldberg's career is a good thing. I guess he should have cared more about it when he had it.
Lil' Bitch Posted September 8, 2003 Report Posted September 8, 2003 Cause we all know semi-mobile, aging cripples > current main eventers with ability to draw major money. If Austin / Goldberg gets booked for WM, there is no way in Hell one of the biggest superstars in the history of WWE is going to lose to WCW's pet project, especially in MSG. You know McMahon and Austin wouldn't allow that to happen even if it is Goldberg's last match. Hell, if they can work out Austin / Hogan to happen, and can convince Austin and Goldberg each to have just one more match, save Austin / Goldberg for Backlash.
Guest Redhawk Posted September 8, 2003 Report Posted September 8, 2003 Where did the "Wrestlemania being Goldberg's last match" stuff come from? As far as the Rumble, I see HHH winning. After all, he only has won it once and Austin won it three times, and you know HHH will hold every WWE "record" before he retires: 17 world titles, 4 RR wins, most HIAC-Elimination Chamber-Ladder Match-every other gimmick match wins....heck, he might even pick up a few IC and tag title wins to get those records.
Guest Choken One Posted September 8, 2003 Report Posted September 8, 2003 I believe the contract expires at Mania Time... and HHH would rather have Bruno's record then flairs...So he'll jump ship and keep the world belt but win n job the WWE title about 12 times in a year (all to his selected personal Ron Garvins).
Guest Phoenix Posted September 8, 2003 Report Posted September 8, 2003 I am still gonna say Angle is gonna win it since he hasn't yet. If he does win though HHH will have to share his glory of being to only person to win the KOTR and the RR both.
bob_barron Posted September 8, 2003 Report Posted September 8, 2003 Brock Lesnar, Steve Austin, and Bret Hart have won both the RR and KOTR
Guest TheGame2705 Posted September 8, 2003 Report Posted September 8, 2003 Austin getting in the ring with Berg would be no worse than when Angle got in the ring with Brock in terms of potential injury.
Kahran Ramsus Posted September 8, 2003 Report Posted September 8, 2003 Austin getting in the ring with Berg would be no worse than when Angle got in the ring with Brock in terms of potential injury. Goldberg is more reckless than Brock and Austin doesn't seem as stupid as Angle.
Guest thrall585 Posted September 8, 2003 Report Posted September 8, 2003 I see Goldberg winning the title at Unforgiven, losing it to Triple H at Survivor Series, winning the Rumble, and facing Triple H for the title at Wrestlemania where Triple H gets to bury him.
Guest Boo_Bradley Posted September 8, 2003 Report Posted September 8, 2003 Only person to suck at RR worse is Rikishi. He's been in 9 Rumbles I think and he hasn't done that much. UT lasted like 4 minutes in 1993 also. Well, he did eliminate Steve Austin one year... and the Undertaker another. That actually set up a Austin vs Fatu Superstars match
Guest The Decadent Slacker Posted September 9, 2003 Report Posted September 9, 2003 Austin/Hogan is one of those matches i'd just enjoy for the sake of entertainment. Sure, it's basically a cripple fight, but it'd be a fun one. The only problem would be both guys have a storied history with McMahon, guranteeing interference. As for the RR, i dunno. The RAW Title doesn't deserve a WM main event spot, so that means it'll get one. If a RAW guy wins, let it be a face Jericho so they can build his tHHHrashing like a Hogan/Warrior thing (it's not, but it could be built as such if they chose). Or a heel Jericho Vs a face Rock, with Jericho going over clean for the title at WM (let Rock mercy kill Orton at RR via HHH interference). For SD!, either Eddie or Angle. Eddie is so hot something must be done with him, & Angle's more than earned it (especially since he's talked retirement after the next year). Eddie/Angle (either going over) or Eddie/Brock sounds good to me, since i'm burned out on Angle/Brock.
NYU Posted September 9, 2003 Report Posted September 9, 2003 I see Goldberg winning the title at Unforgiven, losing it to Triple H at Survivor Series, winning the Rumble, and facing Triple H for the title at Wrestlemania where Triple H gets to bury him. Oh, jeez....I....... Goldberg/Triple H for 6 months..... My stomach. ----------------------------- With that said, my prediction is for Angle to win the Royal Rumble. But I'm not sure who he'd face. Hopefully, not Brock again. That, my friends, would be called overkill.
