bob_barron Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 Yea- F'n Amazing beat XXX a few weeks before Jarrett v. Raven. I can understand not showing JJ v. Raven since that match- Killed Jarrett Makes Raven look like a bitch a week before a big match
Guest BrokenWings Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 I'm insinuating they cut out the entire Douglas/Raven segment. I could have done without the War Games match as well, though I understand why it was on there. I also think Juvi/Hart, while a spotfest, could have attracted quite a few viewers for at least one more show.
bob_barron Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 Snafu on one cent show in parts of the country by Dave Meltzer [email protected] We've received reports from several parts of the country tonight from Cox cable subscribers who were informed they would have to pay $9.95 to receive the in Demand PPV advertised for one penny. We don't have more details on this other than it was an apparent communications problem between in Demand and Cox. In most of the markets, most notable being San Diego, there was local advertising out that the show would cost one cent.
Guest Choken One Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 ummm...WHAT? If I spent 9.95 for that Infomercial....TNA will NEVER see my money again. Never Mind...I have TW...not Cox. Went too far and didn't read the whole thing
tpww7 Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 On Screen guide said 000.01 for me..so I'm all set.
Corey_Lazarus Posted September 11, 2003 Report Posted September 11, 2003 I find it funny that they clipped "the most important match in the history of TNA" (Raven/Jarrett) but left the Tag title match between AMW and XXX uncut (which was a good move, as that's the best TNA match since Styles/Lynn/Ki, non-ladder). You'd think they'd leave a good 50% of the crap about Raven/Douglas out and show Raven/Jarrett in full, since they hyped it up as THE most important match in TNA history. I can't believe I decided to watch this instead of talk to my girlfriend. Just when TNA provides a damn good month of programming this past month, they deliver a shitty "best of" that is just...mediocre.
