the max 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2003 I'm currently having an argument with the folks at EATech, as I am trying to fix my computer so that I can play my hockey game. basically, they are convinced that the fact that I have installed a newer version of Internet Explorer (they require 6.0, which I have an updated version of) that it is not letting me play the game. All I want to do is set up IE so that I have IE6 again. I downloaded a version that EATech swore would work from Microsoft, IE6, service pack 1, but when I try to install it, a pop up box tells me that it detects a newer version already installed, and won't continue. I've been fighting with these people for about 3 weeks now, and I want to finish my season before NHL 2004 comes out in about a week. Can someone please tell me how to get IE 6 back? They suggested a system rollback, but I'm not entirely sure when the problem might have started, and I'm not comfortable with potentially losing things that I've worked hard on. Help! the max 0 Report post Posted September 16, 2003 I guess so. The weird thing is that it worked for about two weeks, until I started getting script errors when I'd start the game up. After these script errors, I'd be missing menu sidebars. For example, the game would be at the title screen, and I'd get a script error message: Error that I get each time I load the game Which results in this. Note that the left menu is supposed to have at least 5 other options, and I'm missing two toolbars at the top
