Guest JumpinJackFlash Report post Posted September 15, 2003 As most of you may know, Hurricane Isabel is in the Atlantic, and it looks to be heading my way. The tracking shows that the hurricane my pass through my town Thursday afternoon and evening. This is right before Smackdown! Smackdown! With the Ironman match! What can I do? Will someone have half a brain and pre-empt Smackdown, or will those idiots forget that our entire city may have no power? For those who are recording it, do you have a deal that we can reach, just in case I miss it? Or, maybe better, if any of you plan on recording it on VHS and switching it to DVD. I would prefer DVD over VHS. Anyone? Anyone? Please!

AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2003 I'll be taping it anyway. I've yet to watch the last two weeks of SD so I'm waiting until I get some free time to do so. I can set up an extra tape for ya if you want. So don't die or anything.
Downhome 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2003 I wish I lived in a place where storms and the such were more frequent. Call me odd, but I really love to witness the awesome power. Obivously I hate when people get hurt. If I knew how, I'd be crazy enough to become one of those guys who chase storms around, heh.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted September 15, 2003 It won't take long for this match to be on the net. It's broadcast all over, and it's the biggest TV match in a very long time. Hell, I'm watching Smackdown for the first time ever to see it. Although I can't gurantee I'll watch the rest of the show, I'll definatly watch the match. EDIT: Fooster is here

I'm just glad that it shouldn't affect NE Ohio since we got half an hour of SmackDown preempted for a tornado that affected almost nobody in the viewing area and never touched down anyway.
