Wouldn't Anya have to cut his head off & mutilate the body, or stab him in the ass or some such? I've got that much from memory of the Pylea arc.

 

But then again - Illyria skips from Point A to Point C in killing Lorne in "Time Bomb", as she is a demon god, and being a demon god couldn't give two shits about story continuity. I like to think Lorne just knew when to keep his green ass DOWN.

I couldn't count wes cause that just leaves him and Giles, and that is a pretty close matchup, allthough shotgun Wes might win.

 

And lets just reset the the matchups then, shall we?

 

I would take Illryia over Willow in a fight, although if you kill Willows girlfriend right before, it would be more even and one hell of a war.

 

Lorne would fight Xander and win, so...THERE.

 

Gunn vs. Anya - Gunn put the beat down on alot of shit over those years, and if you put him in a tux, he could kick ass like he did in that episode with Gwen the Electro GAL~! Plus his hubcap ax would take her out. Unless its demon Anya, in which case he would bash the jewel and THEN kick her ass. Or Wes would just shoot her.

 

Gile vs. Wes - I changed my mind. This isn't a draw. Wes would win. I mean, Giles would kill to protect buffy, but Wes could kill out of pure anger. what he did to knox, the druggy girl when looking for Angelus, lawyer boy, the bot he thought was his dad...that all shows alot more vicious of a mean streak than Ripper showed in Band Candy. Giles was just a punk at his worst of times that killed Ben out of necessity. Wes was a true muthafuckin badass.

 

Angel vs. Buffy - Okay, seriously, Angel would take her if it came down to it. Seriously.

 

Buffy Spike vs. Angel Spike - Angel Spike wins. I mean, he put the beat down on ANGEL for the fucking cup. He beat down a room full of zombies, and after time he started to learn to beat up illyeria some. Dude was more focused and more of a fighter on Angel.

 

So thus completeing the most fanboyish post I have ever written: Ill over Willow, unless we are talking just got a dose of magic crack and girlfriend just got killed Willow. Then I give the edge to Will. But seriously....a Yellow crayon beat her.

 

Gun vs Anyanka : I am taking Gunn in this fight, because he is Charles Mutha fuckin Gunn.

 

Giles vs Wes - Wes would shoot Giles. Giles would have to think about it and hesitate. You know what they say about he who hesitates in wars. He who hesitates is lost. Wes wins. Plus, Wes got stabbed with a bigger knife, and gutted with said knife and still gave a more coherient speech than Giles did after he got scraped with a fucking spear. Giles started convulsing and shit from a goddamned spear. Therefore, Wes is harder than Giles.

 

Angel/Buffy - I take Angel.

 

Spike vs. Spike - Spike would win in a landslide.

 

Lorne vs. Xander - I will take the guy with both his eyes and a weapon like the Banshee thing. Plus, Lorne held his own against Jasmine and her followers, and he would shoot Xander if Angel told him to. Goodnight folks.

Team Buffy aka The Scoobs will feature:

1. Captain Buffy

2. Witch Willow (duh)

3. Long John Harris...I mean Xander

4. Anyanka in full demon mode

5. Giles

 

w/ their Manager, Andrew (Dawn would probably be lurking ringside as well)

Principal Wood as an alternate (The Team may need an extra man since Xander is handicapped)

 

Team Angel

1. Captain Angel

2. Spike

3. Gunn

4. Wes

5. Illyria

 

w/ Their Manager, Faith (you know she would side with Angel over Buffy)

 

The Managers are there to throw in the towel if neccessary

 

obviously we have to assume that for this story sake, anya, wes, and gunn are still alive. Oh hell I'll just make a convoluted plot that brings them back to life.

Wasn't Willow pretty much a mega-strong, goddess-like witch at the end of the show? And are we talking pre-laser Illyria? And how can we expect Angel or Spike to fight Buffy? I think trying to play things out will be too much.
