Guest Jay Z. Hollywood Posted September 16, 2003 Report Posted September 16, 2003 Thanks to Thomas Green for again providing the hookup, and major thanks and appreciation to Dan for being, without a doubt, the best interview I've conducted and the nicest person in the wrestling business I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. Without exaggerating, this is probably the greatest wrestling-related thing I've ever done, check it out: http://thesmartmarks.com/artman/publish/ar...icle_1181.shtml
Phoenix Fury Legdrop Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 I must compliment Jay publically on an awesome interview. I guess I got a rep around here as the "Wildside fanatic", and even I learned a ton about Dan, Wildside, and wrestling in general from this. Again, even if you know diddly squat about Wildside, read this NOW. Dan's theories on the business will interest even the most minor of indy fans.
Guest DonWestMark03 Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 I really dug this interview. I'm a big ROH fan but I can see the merits of his "old school" viewpoint. I loved 80's WWF and I miss that feel in today's wrestling, both in WWE and the indies.
Zack Malibu Posted September 17, 2003 Report Posted September 17, 2003 I posted a response in Site Feedback for ya, Jay. Just let me say the same thing here. Dan Wilson, without me ever even seeing the guy/hearing a match he's called, is someone I'd consider a tremendous asset to this business. Good job, and a great read.
