that was an awesome interview... seriously... and i have never heard of the guy before. it seemed like he was completely upfront and held nothing back. i'm dead serious. prolly the best interview the site has ever had.

That was a really good interview. Informative and entertaining. To bad for me I don't get wildside anymore. Wildside is a fun show and Wilson is fairly good at what he does. I would check it out if you have never seen it.

 

The questions were good and you really didn't interject yourself into the interview you just let Wilson say what he wanted to, which was great.

You're thinking of DON "The Dragon" Wilson, the champion kickboxer/action star.

 

This is DAN "The Dragon" Wilson, voice of NWA:Wildside.

 

That said, GREAT interview Jay. It's one thing to hear things in convo's with you and Thomas, but seeing how proud this guy is to be in the wrestling business is an attitude you don't see every day. Most people do it for a check, or as that steppingstone to the 'big show' in Stamford. Wilson's having fun doing what he's doing 100%. Seems like a really cool guy, and definitely an asset to the promotion.

Not to be a smartass or anything, Tony, but Dan's nickname came as a rib by Bill Behrens, I believe, while introducing him as ring announcer in his first show in Athens, based on the fact that his name sounded too much like the kickboxer's.

 

I said it before in the Indy folder; great f-cking interview, Jay.
