Thoughts on the Iron Man Match

I just finished watching the Iron Man match, i'll say this: i found it an enjoyable and worthwhile use of 60 minutes of my time. I think probably why i found it so enjoyable was because i went in to it with quite low expectations, as almost everyone round here had been slating it as being pretty poor.

 

I thought it told a good story of Kurt having to battle up hill the majority of the match and coming very close to winning with the fianl ankle lock but having victory snatched away from him. But eh what do i know?

Im sure everyone shits on first half of Bret/HBK iron man and still give it ****. So why isn't SK allowed to?

So I would average them together, although I go by Dames TNA ratings more than anyone elses.

WP-Your opinion of Keith's looks doesn't mean a thing. So you're telling me I should automatically throw out someone's opinion on matches because of their "bad" looks? I should edit that to seem not so hateful because SK is one of few people to add stars to that is known by most people.

I like and respect the opinions of most of SKs work, but he's biased towards certain wrestlers.

 

I knew that SK was gonna give the match ****+. Why ? Cuz it's Angle and Lesnar, he doesn't need any other reasons. He's also the same with Benoit.

 

The thing is, he can be VERY cynical.

 

Anyways, most of the time, I can actually AGREE with the opinion of SK and I enjoy reading his rants and sometimes laugh at the jokes. Sometimes, he can come off sounding like an asshole though, and that's where he makes enemies among people on the net.

He won't touch wrestlers at this time because he STILL thinks WWE will hire him.

 

He's tried reportdly about 5 times and never got a call back or even a interview I don't think...

 

He gets less critical of HHH when application time comes.

Brock Lesnar is passing Kurt Angle in terms of psychology and selling. This Iron Man match was the final straw. Lesnar did, indeed wrestle a far smarter match then Kurt. He involved the fans early, used the DQ spot to hos advantage, sold better on the long term and his movements made more sense in the greater context of the match. Watch Kurt fall apart with 5 minutes left and put the Ankle lock on the WRONG ANKLE. Watch him forget the injuries he should be selling.

 

Mark my words, guys. Brock is getting very close to Kurt, and it won't be long.
